I called this restaurant midday approximately 2:00 for take out. I order the Seafood pasta meal, classic meatless Caesar salad, and their highly rated cheesecake! The customer service on the phone was excellent. I was given 2 totals. 1 for cash payment and the other for credit card. One thing about me is I HATE fees! I super duper appreciate this person telling me the 2 totals. That way I was able to get my cash together and pay that way instead of using my credit card out of convenience but pay a fee. I hate that credit card companies do this to small food establishments or stores. I understand the concept tho. The salad was delicious. To me the dressing and cheese make the salad and Rapaen’s classic Caesar did not disappoint! The Seafood pasta was cooked Al dente and the cream sauce was excellent. Next time I will opt for just Shrimp. My boyfriend absolutely devoured his portion. I enjoyed mine as well just a little too fishy for me because I prefer Shrimp solo. I am waiting on an afternoon to open so I can order again but this time just Shrimp! Now on to the cheesecake 👀 Woo hoo that Cheesecake was on point and I am pleased with myself that I ordered 4 pieces so me and my bf can enjoy for 2 days. I came on google and first read about this restaurant so I could get an idea of what to order. When I read the cheesecake was very good I said let me trust google and get 4 slices! The passion fruit glaze is everything! You must try this dessert! Overall my experience was a positive one. As I said I look forward to placing my next take out order soon. I am especially anticipating the Spring/Summer to arrive so I can walk with my family to eat in house and walk home. Perhaps take a stroll by Larry Holmes park afterwards. Thank you Rapaen’s keep up the...
Read moreGreat food and service in a cute restaurant. I would definitely like to go again.
We had empanadas to start with cheese and bananas. Loved them, with a nice flakey crust. I had a passion fruit juice with milk which was lovely and I was happy to see it on the menu.
Our entrees were the rice with sea food, a dish similar to paella which I could really taste the flavors pop and had a great assortment of seafood.
The camarones al ajillo was a very tasty shrimp dish with plantains, rice and a great creamy garlic sauce. The shrimp were cooked the right amount and the garlic sauce didn't over power the seafood.
We also took some tres leches cake to go. We enjoyed our meal and would love to dine...
Read moreI had a private event of about 20 people here on 6/14/24. We decided to eat out on the deck outdoors and it was so pretty overlooking the Delaware River. We could have easily fit another 20 to 30 people out there. Mind you we had children, meat eaters, and vegetatians in our party and all were satisfied. The prices were reasonable and the portions were ample. Also i am Ecuadorian/American myself and the flavors are spot on. The owner/chef Wilson and waitress Maria were so sweet, hospitable and accommodating that I would hands down do another event here in the future. They of course have a bar area and indoor seating here too. I recommend them for lunch, dinner or...
