If I could give it no stars, I would. Last night, my wife and I visited this restaurant to grab a drink at the bar before an event in Paradise Valley. There were stools but they were singles on the opposite sides of the bar. As we were standing there, the host approached us and asked if we were here for dinner. We said no, just drinks and would only be there for about 15 or 20 minutes. As he surveyed the bar, he said why don't you take this table which was in the bar area. We sat down and the server came over to take our order. We explained to him that we were only going to be here for a very short time and we were just going to order drinks. As we discussed which wine to order, a man (who we later learned is the owner Greg) approached us from behind and was screaming, NO NO NO! You may not sit here. This is RESERVED. At this point the host came back over and explained that he and seated us there and that we were only going to be there for a very short time, clearly indicating that we would be gone before the reservation. The man proceeded to say, ABSOLUTELY NOT! and gestured for us to leave this table immediately. He made no attempt to offer us another location to have drinks and was less than professional. We got up and left the restaurant.
We did not ask for this table! We followed the lead of the host who offered it to us. Obviously they did not want our business last night. We spent our money elsewhere. We will never return, and we will tell as many people about this...
Read moreIf it were an option, I'd give this location negative stars. Not very clean. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I've only been to this location twice, both through the drive thru. You can see how messy they keep things through the window. The first time I chalked it up to a bad evening. This time we ordered meals and ice cream.
My DD had her heart set on getting a root beer with a kid's meal. We don't do that very often, so that was the special treat she wanted. Unbeknownst to me, DQ won't allow you to order a soda with a kid's meal. So after an argument with the gal at the window, I finally convince my DD to settle on a chocolate milk instead. (If I want to order a soda for my child, I should be allow to do so)
I finally get my food home only to discover they forgot to give me the kid's meal drink! So I called them up. (I can hear the employee whisper to her co-workers "It's the crazy lady"...very professional. Next time cover the receiver, or better yet, don't say it at all).
They tell me I can come back to get the chocolate milk. Meanwhile my family's food will be getting cold while I drive back to pick up a chocolate milk. That makes sense. So they offer to also give me the controversial root beer. Right. And then she has the audacity to tell me I have two weeks to come in a pick up the drink...for which I have already paid...but now we've added an expiration date.
Go to Culver's. The customer service is exemplary...and...
Read moreThey're like chickens with their heads cut off, all panicking, and no one seems to know how to do their job! I've been to this location just 3 times and each time its the same, i pull ip to an insanely long line, then i have to repeat my order at least 3 times before they understand what im talking about, and my orders are simple but they dont even seem to know their own menu! Then eventually when i get up to the window im not acknowledged in any way for at least 2 minutes, when i finally am no apologies they just state my total and turn away. Then as i watch them take a long time to try and figure out how to use a register i watch as at least 5 team members swarm around the front frantically moving around unable to handle the situation, bickering with eachother on whos fault the backup is and over all very unorganized! Now i get the stress of retail, especially with how busy they can get but with 6 (within sight there could be more in the back) people working close to closing and all this chaos is ridiculous! And when i get my icecream it is alway close to melting , that is if its done right. After haning me what they percive to be my orter they shut the window and turn away, i then have to sit there untill someone heares me or notices that im...
