Unpon arrival and seated by a host we waited.....finally as we expected a server to take our meal the bar attendant took over and did. Handful of conversations over heard about looking for our server possibly “Tito” from what we overheard. Food came on a proper time. Utensils were given after we pulled the manager to the side for a complaint. HIGH INTOLERANCE TO CITRUS and made it quiet aware to the bar attendant NO CITRUS yet our shrimp came with lemon slices WHY? As a simple person we removed and continued. The food was well enough definitely looked like the crawfish were mangy-dirty older-expired you name it we didn’t finish it. Being quiet dissatisfied ruins any good food! We continued to get past the meal and disappointment and than....... a whole meal was missing.... Being distracted and now in raged by this complete experience my girlfriend and I turn to each other to figure out next and at the moment our eyes taken from our son sitting in the booth with us fell and bumped his chin 1 years old. Mom runs him to the bathroom to figure out what has been done than rushes out to mention us needing to leave ASAP. All I saw was blood in his mouth and knew it was time to go. I called quickly for a manger and when he showed I briefly broke down what just happened. Ask what I could do in regards to this situations and asked what time also they closed and would be back to handle this. The manager chose to dabble with his thoughts until I mentioned I was leaving RIGHT THAT MOMENT. The manager goes to mention that if I do not come back that this will be bad for me. How can one disrespect and threaten another when a situation unfolded well over my head. Shortly after dropping my son off at thee hospital I returned to pay for whatever dues I owed. The manager at this point was aware he had made a mistake and beginning to break down the bill now the total was roughly 40-50$. He voided the food I ordered that’s didn’t receive. Charged me 17.93$ for what I was given. Arguing about not paying just isn’t appropriate because I work for my money and I do get the right to choose how I spend it Right? Well in honor of the ones that do work hard and get up every day to thrive for better that’s what we paid 17.93$+tip to even out to 20$. This location just isn’t ready to thrive in the community like they believed to achieve and highly a disappointment that this had to land on my family. Hire a real manager and hire a real assistant to kick these servers in gear sitting around isn’t an option anymore. People’s time and money are valuable, there should never be a reason why a manger should come up and asked if you have been seen yet 20 minutes into arrival. If your reading this and work here you know exactly what happened don’t hesitate to express your...
Read moreI had to run to harbor freight for some tools and noticed angry crab was finally open in my area so I decided to sit down for lunch around 1230. My server was polite and attentive she did everything she could for me with the bad food and quality control from the kitchen.
I ordered a dozen raw oysters the first batch smelled gross looked nasty and was surprised it was even served to me, the second batch I got came out looking much better but still the liquor of the oyster was smelly and smiley some even tasted questionable, I guess they don't rinse or check before they serve there nasty oysters.
I followed up with a pound of head on shrimp and fresh live craw fish I also ordered sausage added that never came in my bags that I needed to ask for. The crawfish were improperly cleaned and rinsed had mud/specks of dirt on them no it wasn't seasoning you could taste it and scrap it off their belly's. The bag of head on shrimp some came filled with rotted nasty black/red goo that you could clearly see in the head I ended up just tossing them...
The server apologized no discount for low quality food, I then was told this was a soft opening and they're not fully running yet and the grand opening is next week I wrote a customer review in store also, overall whomever is running the kitchen or serving food needs to be properly trained or someone with experience hired, I paid 60$ for my meal I expect top quality seafood.
I normally go to their happy valley location and have never had an issue with food quality or service.
EDIT. came back after 4 years and wow still the same garbage service ayden was our server/bartender... food was over cooked underweight and he tried to pull a fast one on us and put all of our 1lb orders as 1/2lb making them 3-6$ more than ordering a full lb.... they couldn't calculate 60$ worth of food on their hand let alone a calculator.... tried to get us for 15$ more than what the food acutally costs, ayden explain that's the seafood tax they put on the food.... but our 1lb order of shrimp came in at the correct price.... scam...
Read more::PLEASE READ:: So I will no longer give this location my business. The last 4 times my family has been here the service has declined substantially. We ALWAYS have to wait almost 10 minutes for someone come to the table. Other reviews speak of the same so I guess is normal. From the bag breaking twice on the table as they set the food, to simply just forgetting drinks, simple requests, and orders incorrect. You ask for something and some waitresses stand around. Helloooo!!! You wait 20 mins to be served something you didnt order followed by waiting another 15 to receive what you actually ordered. Happened 2 times. It's a real bummer when your craving this stuff. Seriously. The service continues to get worse and worse, it just makes us sad. We were excited that the location was finally opening as we always had to drive down to the Indian School.
The MANAGER decides to finally apologize as he knows us and sees that we are upset. We constantly see him apologizing to tables for the terrible service and mistakes. I would say 2 out of 4 times we are sitting in front or behind a table that was complaining or upset about something.
Why is the MANAGER wearing chains and a gangster hat like it is a backyard party? A company thrives and also fails because of management. This is the problem here. Very unprofessional when he spoke with us. You can see he was not really focused on the issue and seemed like he really didnt care. He clearly doesn't have the aptitude to be a manager.
He knew we were upset and loudly screams as we are walking out "HAVE A GOOD DAY!" like a Jackass. He didnt say this to any other customer as they left. The people outside and my family found that very disrespectful and it really upset us.
Service....
