I'm going to start w the negatives - CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS is my take away! To start service was HORRIBLE. We sat for 15min and all they brought was water. No one came to see if we wanted to place apps or drinks. After 20 min we grabbed someone and asked them if we had a server. They said yea what do you need. Weird. I explained we never been there and if he would go over the menu and what dicks is all about. He said all our food is good it's just what you're in the mood for - COOOOL super helpful! After 35 min we finally got to put our food order in. Then after about 45-50 mins a server came around and was attentive. I'm going to assume the server was on break and people were supposed to be watching his section and we're not. This guy was decent. Food was ok. Chips and guac was ok. My enchiladas were tasty. My friends steak had ZERO flavor and eggs came out over hard instead of over easy. Took 15-20 mins to get replacements - we were already done eating by the time they came out. My part of the bill came out too 42$ and some change I left a $6 tip cause I was So unimpressed w the experience. I check my bank account today and the server added an extra $2 to the bill. Called Dicks. No manager on site. Called Richard's no manager but they gave me the number to the manager. Phill said he's going to look into it but assured me cause I used Debit it does an automatic withdrawal and in a couple days it should reflect accordingly. But my bank statement has it as posted not pending. I hope he's correct. I know it's just two bucks. But it's principle after how bad our service experience was. If it autocorrects I'll re-edit this review but as of now I'm really disappointed in the experience and the taste of the enchilada's don't out weight...

First, you can't see and there are unmarked steps as you walk in l, so i tripped. I'll go ahead and take this one did say this was on me.
2 of our seats were broken and had to be switched out. There is so much dust in this place is insane. I honestly don't know how they get away with the amount of dust in the room with all the wine bottles.
I needed the restroom so they pointed me through the bar, around a little tiny corner, up steps. Around another very tight corner going between two tables, down more steps... go through the kitchen into the kitchen staff bathroom where the door is held open with a string. There was an unflushed/clogged/nasty urinal that smelled so bad, it was D-sgusting.
Food: It is Sante Fe style food. Everything is pepper hot, even the food that wasn't supposed to be hot.
I ordered biscuits and gravy (fire, chunks of jalapeños. It arrived with chorizo on it. Nowhere did it say chorizo or pepper in anything. They took it away and delivered a remake 30 minutes later as everyone finished up. I took it home and threw it away, it was still too spicy. It was around $20 on special.
Soooooo.....
If you love a unique adventure, with VERY spicy food then this might be your new spot. If you don't like spicy foods, this might not be the place for you.
Gimella is an absolute love of a waitress however. Great server, right on point.

Read moreI love Dick’s! Fantastic food, great local atmosphere; however, I had to take a break from Dick’s last year due to the rude service and disappointing meal. I had been bragging about Dick’s to my out of town friend; we sat at the bar( as my local friend and I typically do); maybe the guy at the bar was having a bad day but his attitude and poor service was too much. Fast forward to yesterday, my friend’s birthday, let me give it another chance. As expected, we had to wait to sit(normal, we’ve waited 30 mins or more), great service, great food-a wonderful day with my friend. That all changes when that same rude guy from the year before, comes over to our table and says, “Ladies take your conversation over there, I have people waiting.” We were in shock! My friend, a regular at Dick’s for YEARS, tells the guy not cool! We leave request our car, then go back in-tell the rude guy, never has this kind of treatment happened at fine dining or dive, we spent a lot of money at brunch, we waited to sit like everyone else, guy says, “ It’s our policy.” All the times we sat at Dick’s no one said,” your time is up-move!” Never had this happen at the other Richardson’s restaurants. Long story-live the place but this guy with the rude random “policy” is ruining the great service, fantastic food and fun experience that makes Dick’s special.
