eegee's — Restaurant in Phoenix

Was feeling hungry after my work shift and I remembered that there was a Phoenix location here so I decided to give it a try. I used to go to the Tucson location a lot so I remember how delightful the food was. Considering the pickup window was closer to the main entrance, it confused me and no one was there to assist me— you need bigger signs!! Once I got to the ACTUAL ordering window this young man by the name of Ricky was very helpful and sweet. He looked professional, long hair tied up and his clothes were clean. We had a nice talk and I suggested that he should try to look into Accutane. Anyways, I ordered a toasted tuna sub with extra mayo and extra jalapeños per Ricky’s recommendation. It was alright, not enough of the extras that I asked for. I wish they had put more, I felt like the sandwich was lackluster. I also ordered a lemon and skinny berry eegee. The girl who handed me my drink was also very sweet, she had an amazing smile. I think her name was Love, she’s very good at her job and I assumed that she was manager. However, the drink was not to my liking, they would not take out the fruit chunks from my beverage and the skinny berry was absolutely horrid. Why doesn’t the menu have a description of skinny berry?!? It’s misleading and deceptive. The whole restaurant looked like a tornado blew through it, it was nasty and smelled weird. Overall I’m disappointed and I’m unsure if I would want to come back. Staff is all nice, very unorganized though. It’s like it was their first day of working. Update: I returned the following day and, as promised, replaced what was missing from my order. They also gave a complimentary cookie. The original eegee was delicious! Thank you

Update: I called the store to see about a refund bc I'm still hungry. I spoke with the General Manager, Rebecca, and provided my name. She advised that I can come back anytime for a refund or to replace my order (I don't live close so I didn't return to do this in person). I just need to provide my name and let them know I spoke with her. I'll update if/when I return to confirm this was upheld.

Just ordered thru the drive thru. I ordered a half eegee grinder and ranch fries. Got home excited to get the Eegees grinder I've been craving, they forgot the grinder. I didn't think to check the bag bc she read my order back to me at the pick up window. So now I sit here starving and still craving the grinder that I paid for and didn't get. Yea, I know. I should check the bag. But why should I HAVE to 🤦🏻‍♀️

First I gotta give love to the white haired and white bearded gentleman who greeted us and took our order here on 5/26 or 5/27..... He was so warm, friendly and just plain happy, I wish I got his name. His friendliness and happiness truly made our day! Whoever you are, keep doing you! Ill be coming to this location just to have you take my order again even if im not hungry and just need to smile on a down kind of day! You're awesome!

Anyways, first time in AZ, second time to eegees just a different location. We only came here for their ice, and dang it was good! That said, we were told you come here for ice and ranch fries. Have yet to try the ranch fries but the ice is a 10/10! From what I have heard, you don't come here for the subs or anything other than the ice and fries, taking that advice and I'll be back. I'd never rate based on the other food. That's not really why you go here from what I have been told or what they are famous for. You don't go to a steakhouse, order a vegan milkshake and give them 1 stars because their vegan milkshakes suck 😆 Same...
