Bell Hotel & Suites — Hotel in Phoenix

This place was cheap and the rooms were nice but the management sucked! My husband was doing laundry and smoking a cigarette in their laundry room and a guest came in to get ice and told him he wasn’t aloud to smoke in there so he said okay went outside and put the cigarette out and continued to do our laundry. Well the other guest went to the office and told the lady that was working that he was smoking in the laundry room so the worker came outside and told him he wasn’t aloud to smoke in the laundry room and asked what our room number was so my husband told them we were in room 131 and explained that he wasn’t aware that he wasn’t aloud to smoke cigarettes in the laundry room and that he had seen other people in there smoking so thought it was okay and she rolls her eyes at him then with such a nasty attitude says well I’m letting management know that you were smoking in the laundry room and that you didn’t listen when you were told it wasn’t aloud then before my husband could even get a word out she walked back to the office. It’s probably around 11:00 PM / 11:30 PM so my husband just finished grabbing our laundry out of the dryer and decided we would just fold it in the room.. So we each grabbed our baskets and I walked out then he took a step out of the door set his laundry basket down and lit his cigarette to smoke before we got back to the room and before he could even pick his laundry basket back up and start walking the lady from the office comes running out with a taller, bigger male. And without stopping she walks past my husband and says you’re going to get in so much trouble for this I just saw you smoking in there again and my husband says no I wasn’t check the cameras and the male that walked out with the office lady I’m assuming was supposed to be her security guard stands next to office lady (she didn’t have a name tag and refused to tell us her name) giving my husband the dirtiest looks and flexing towards him then they both walk to the pool and right back to the office. Seemed to me like the lady that was in the office just liked to start trouble and that she shouldn’t be working there. We were paying weekly and had just paid the morning before and two days later we go to the office to get some towels and Heather says no you need to check out because I saw you smoking in my laundry room after you were asked not to and my husband said okay that’s fine we will leave I didn’t want to stay after we finished this week anyways, can I get a refund for the 5 days I have left that I paid for and she says no sorry we don’t refund our customers you need to be gone within an hour or I’m calling the police have a nice day bye and walks to the back of the hotel office! So we paid $289.78 for the week that we weren’t getting back, then on the 5 of October, 2018 the day we checked out; after we left my card was charged 3 times! Once for $43.87, once for $25.00, and once for $58.60 so I called the bank and explained that those were unauthorized charges then tried calling the office and got hung up on 4 times. Then on the 6th of October, 2018 my card was charged AGAIN; once for $58.60 and once for $30.00! My bank is going to try to put on my account that they cannot charge my card but because they’re charging different amounts they made it were I have to go online to my banking app and authorize any charge from any hotel (which I’m fine with)!! I just hope I get my money back and I hope that the supervisors will get better employees at this location!! So very disappointed, the only reason I gave two stars is because the housekeepers are very nice, the rooms are spacious and well kept, and because of the price but you get what you pay for right? I hope this helps nobody else having this...

I don't usually take time to do a review but I felt that this was too urgent and important to do as a US citizen of this nation. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL!!! GO TO COMFORT INN, REDROOF INN DAYS INN, EVEN MOTEL 6 Is a better choice. It is DISGUSTING. New owners And it is obvious the supposed owner Kim (last does not look like she has mental altitude to be a housekeeper let alone owner) has no idea how to run a business. At first everything seems normal, I looked up hotels in the area and notice this one And have never been at this one so thought I'd give it a try. I pull in and get a room. The first room U go in reeked of old cigarettes and mildew. I notice their is old beat u peices of furniture that still have beer stains from spilling the night before. I look at the bed in horror, counting the cigarette burns as I can barely distinguish them from sorry spots all over the bed. Out of amazement and curiosity I look under the bed and see a used condom and bolt for the door to throw up, barely making it. The images of that room will remained engrained in my memory for ever. It was extremely late and didn't feel like driving to another place so I asked for a different room. The 2nd, 3rx were just as filthy. By this time I had already invested too much time and energy to go somewhere else and figured I can just pay some newspaper and towels over the bed right? WRONG!!! I look in tbe bathroom and their are no towels or toilet paper! I looked around for a hidden camera thinking I'm getting or a pranked and realized that this is actuAlly real life. I tried smacking myself, throwing water in my face and glance back into the filthy of a room and stil....no towels....no toilet paper, more cigarette stains, condom wrapper! I run lock the door and curl into a ball on the bed crying as I couldn't avoid my cheek touching the lovestain I didn't notice. I finally have a great idea! Let's ask the front desk maybe they have towels or toilet, what hotel wouldn't right?? WRONG!!! The lady at the front grinned at me as if she was laughing hysterically like a cracked out javelina. She didn't say a word, just grinned and pointed at her pile of skin she was gathering as she gently peeled another price of her face. I run back to the room, feeling her breath behind me I dash into the room, lock the door, the door falls off!. I push a desk in front of the door, the desk falls apart! Identically look for something to block to broken door but nothing! I run into the bathroom close my eyes and pray.

The next day.....

I go to the front to ask for Manager so I can at least get my deposit refunded. I wait only to find the face peeling lady at the front. She now hase a like 3× as large as the night before. I realized she most have never moved an inch since last night. I ask for a manager. But she just shoots back that evil, horrible, grin. I here the cries of the laughing javelin in my head as I try to gather my thoughts. I told her about the disgusting rooms, the filthy bed, cigarette burns, love stained, CONDOM! She finally stops her grin, takes a feel breath, and farts ever so calm and let's out a masculine grunt as she continues to pick her face. I stare back waiting for her face to call of. She replied I AM THE OWNER! AND I SAY NO REFUNDS!!!!!! So I'm like coo check for a review in 5min and walk to my hotel room and type this up. Seriously everything I mentioned was true. This place is ratchet as help. Crackhead everywhere, owner has no clue what day it is, worst experience of my life!!!!! Pay the extra $20 it's worth it, u will end up paying eat more in therapy and mental institutions if you are unable to endure the trauma that still haunts me.

First let me start by saying to the teo employees there whom were the only ones I encountered that had any manners or morals, this does not pertain to you. Now, let me just say this was one of the most disrespectful, inconsiderate and inconviencing stays I've ever had in my 42 years of life. The place wasn't the best on the eyes but I tried to give it a chance and look past that, me and my fiance decided to stay a night there to see how we liked the place and the environment to possibly rent a room for the month, upon checking in we explained to the lady at the front desk our intentions and let her know that we would be down to the office before check out to pay for the month if everything goes well. Later that night me and my fiance decided to go to t he storage and relocate our belongings to the room being as though we are in the process of looking for a house and due to my whole immediate family catching covid leaving me to quit my job to take care of all the responsibilities that they were no longer capable of at that moment and ending up falling behind in my rent. Anyways the next morning well before check out I called and called the front desk numerous times from the room phone but never got an answer, I then called from my cellular phone multiple times as well and still no answer, next I go to the front office to make the payment and was rudely spoken to told that I have a half hour to get all of my belongings out of the room before the police were called to remove me along with some racial slurs in Spanish thinking I couldn't understand not knowing my fiance is Hispanic as well as a few family members my son and nieces included. My response was, "maam, you may go ahead and whatever call you feel is needed, I'm an honest, law biden citizen that has done nothing wrong and would like to speak with management about why and how am I as well as my fiance being put out of a room that we stated upon check in that we would contact and or be at the front desk before check out to pay for the month or check out and was told that it would be perfectly fine. The outcome was no authorities were called which didn't warrant that anyways, and me and my fiance having to pack all our belongings into our coupe that took numerous trips from the storage to transfer in one trip at a moments notice and having to find a place to reside at the last minute that has monthly rates and availability which was and us nearly impossible. I called left message for management and finally spoke with as well and as like the staff was just as unpleasant and unprofessional as well, I'm just letting whoever is the owner okr owners of this establishment and guest alike it is 2021 and we live in a country and state that is united not divided, so please resolve these issues by retraining or replacing your employees and to the current and possible future guest it is not only unprofessional but un American to be treated like we are viewed as less than in our own country. Let's support those who support us not discriminate. I've never had my room given away while I was already checked in and already established my intentions and told it wouldn't be a problem, just to be thrown out in the morning as if...
