Wish I did not have to even give a star. This place is horrible and no good. The staff is very rude and thieves. Management was rude and she has no customer service skills. All lacked customer services skills, respect , and no courtesy what so ever. My stay was not good. Room the smoke detectors were hanging from roof, not even screwed in. The stove did not even work. House keepers would not even come by and see if I needed towels or anything. I checked into this Red Roof Inn on December 11,2018, I paid for two day or three days even four days at a time and week at time. From the 11 of December to January 3,2019. My first incident I came aware of when I walked in the office on December 26,2018 and went to pay for weekly stay. The man( Patrick) that was working priced me at 348.00 I paid that price. I asked why is the price different from prior week I paid 448.00. He looked and said because the whole time I been here I been charge 20dollars each time in late fees. I informed him, I never been late. He asked if I had my receipt. I said yes. He said, can you bring them down to me, so I can go over them and it looks like we would be owing you money back. So gave my receipts to him, stated I want them back. He said okay. Give him some time so that he can go over my account. So two hours Later i rung the front desk, he answered and informs he has not been able to go over them. Gave him another hour went down there and he was off duty. The lady that took over for that second shift, ask me, Whats up? What do I need? I then inform (Joni) I needed my originals receipt back please. She said, NO the manager will need them. No those are my receipt I brought down here. She then said, what is the problem? I then told her, well you have been charging me 20 dollars late fee since I checked in. She goes to the computer and pulls up my info and room number, starts clicking on things printed me out a new receipt and said oh no all the charges were reversed and here is your new receipts. I said, reverse no nothing been reverse and where is my money I paid that you charged me? She said, come back talk to manager because she busy at the moment. SO everyday I went back to speak to her. Jeri the manager all the sudden been busy and cant get her to talk to me about my concerns. So sum it all up, from the 26th of December to January 1,2019 was paid for the week. January 1st I went in to pay extend my stay for two more nights, the young gal working informs me I have a balance that is owed of 14.96 so I paid for it and she that Patrick does not know what he is doing been charging wrong. Ok so then she informs me that i owe 59.98 and I asked why? She said because I am supposed been depart. I said no my last night is tomorrow but I am try to extend it for two more nights. I gave her the receipt showing her. She said, weird she dont understand why it saying I owe. SO i went ahead and paid for twice for a room that I paid for. She says to talk to manager in morning. I call on way to work and spoke to Jeri. Jeri the manager told me, this is the only and last call she will be taking of this non sense and I pay what I pay or need to depart. I checked out and like I was suppose to and they refuse to give me my deposit back refuse to give me money that they charged me on late fees that were invalid and my original receipts and the money for charging me twice for a night that i paid for. THIS PLACE IS NO GOOD, BUNCH OF THIEVING PEOPLE THAT ALLOW DRUG DEALS GO ON IN PARKING LOT, LOT OF PEOPLE IN AND OUT OF ROOMS THAT WERE ON DRUGS, WITH BACKPACKS CIRCLING AROUND VEHICLES ON BIKES. Read moreI arrived at the hotel and parked then went inside to check in. First thing I notice is the pictures don't reflect the actual state of the hotel, it was more run down. There was no one at the front desk but there was a sign saying helping other guests so be back soon. That was okay, I understand that other guests need employee's attention so I waited patiently. While waiting I noticed that there were barriers at the front desk counter, which is not a good sign. I also saw a sign that said if you are staying for more than 7 days we must clean it, you can't clean your own room, this threw red flags of the clientele. I also, noticed that there were TVs with lots of camera footage, this also made me uncomfortable.
After about 5 min of waiting, an employee came by and asked me if they can help me and I said I am checking in and she said okay let me page someone. I noticed that she was taken back because I was so nice. The other lady came and checked me in and I had to insert my credit card for a $50 deposit which I did get back. They also required ID's for everyone staying in the room, which I never heard of I felt unsettled by this. They gave me the keys and I went to get my stuff.
I went to get the other person who was waiting in the car and the first thing the person said was this hotel is not a good one huh and I said nope. We enter the elevator and it felt run down. We enter the room the beds looked clean and the AC worked. The bathroom and sink were also clean but in the shower there were hairs so it looks like only the visible parts were cleaned. The entire time I was there I felt gross and unsafe. I also did not feel like eating.
I took a shower and the water was hot but it made my skin oily so I am not sure what was in the water (wasn't the soap because we used our own). We also saw a cockroach but luckily there were no bed bugs.
Luckily I was staying for only 1 night and was happy to check out. When I was checking out the person asked me how can I help you and said I wanted to check out and she was taken back because she was expecting a complaint.

The first room we checked into, WE FOUND LICE TREATMENT BOTTLES UNDER THE BED, the rooms A/C did not work and it smelled terrible. They upgraded us which was nice but the fridge smelled like death, the bathroom was really dirty, the sheets had stains, and the floors were so greasy i coupdnt walk without shoes or socks. I really dont want to admit it to myself, but im pretty sure i was BIT BY BED BUGS!!!!!, i have tons of tiny bite marks all over, i hope I don't get sick.... The whole place is really dirty and grimey looking. This location and employees are a complete joke, the manager Nathan is a complete egotistical jerk that was more than offensive to us, having ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Jose, I think a manager tried coming into our room with giving us no time to answer the door, HE BARGED IN OUTR ROOM WITH A PRIVACY SIGN ON, then screamed at us to get out because of a misunderstanding on a desk clerks behalf, which was never resolved by management OR CORPORATE. They literally tried barging in our room and were screaming at us like we were some free loaders or tweakers. Which by the way the place is FULL OF TWEAKERS AND DRUGGIES, AND PROSTITUTES. After having to pay for a night we thought we already payed for with zero customer service, they told us that we couldn't extend our stay any longer because Nathan was butthurt and said my boyfriend was "rude". You're a business, you're not supposed to get butthurt like a little baby!
