Horrible. We booked a room for 4 nights. We canceled our stay for the remaining 3 nights the night we checked in. We would have just left that first night if we could find somewhere else to stay (for a reasonable amount). We asked (very nicely - I assure you) if there was another room we could move to, but were told none were available. I didn't really believe the lady at the front desk, because - let's say she seemed indifferent, disinterested, apathetic... (To be fair, if I worked the night shift at a crappy hotel, i wouldn't care either.) I checked online, and not surprisingly, it still showed rooms available to book. I know they always leave a few rooms - but if someone has a legitimate problem with a room, you'd think they'd want to do something to make it right. The room looked like it had not been cleaned. Hairs all over the comforter and even under on the sheets, soap left in the shower, hairs on the toilet and generally gross, unclean furniture, walls and floors. Also, the room was so poorly done. I don't know what contractor did the work, but they obviously didn't care, and neither did Comfort Inn if they approved the work. It was mediocre at best. There was paint all over things that shouldn't have paint and the flooring and caulking was haphazard at best. And just other tiny things that all add up - there was a vent in the bathroom but no way to turn it on, toilet seat was not attached/loose, the bottom of the vanity was not attached and was very worn looking, the furniture in the room was gross - you could visibly see all the dirt and grim on the arms of the chair and couch, the desk chair was broke, one of the lamps was broke, visible unfixed water leak or something above the shower head, dust or something gross handing off the sprinkler on the ceiling, etc. And, another small thing, but it had the weirdest placement of art. Nothing in the bedroom areas, and then a small picture. Behind a lamp. Like what? Why? Huh? It not really important, but it shows a lack of any care whatso ever. The over all feel of the room was bleak, uninviting and contaminated. To top it off, I still haven't received a refund. Someone called me from Comfort Inn on 3/9 at 8:26 a.m. I really wish I would have let it go to voicemail, so I had a record of what was said. But the lady on the phone told me if I called the company I booked through, they would get in contact with Comfort Inn, and all nights we didn't stay would get fully refunded. It is now 10 days later, and my booking company is having trouble getting Comfort Inn to respond. So I have currently paid over $600 to spend 1 night in a subpar, disgusting room. If Comfort Inn doesn't want to make this right, I don't know why me or anyone else would ever stay in one of their hotels. I certainly would not stay at this particular Comfort Inn again, given this very...
Read moreAnother hotel in the area that failed to show me hospitality. On check-in, I was given on the third floor. The first night was very pleasant. I woke in the morning and read my Bible. Played music for my workout. Took a nap when I woke up. I guess I was transported to a problem hotel. I exited the room, but the lock was inoperable .no one to fix it. Being electronic, I had to call the desk and explain the situation. The clerk gave options to play musical chairs in two days with luggage and room. I directed to give me what I paid for, and I was moved to floor number two. Upon opening the door, I smelled an animal residue . The comforter was not washed and contained the same odor. I checked the next day and found a brown stain on it. See the picture. Calling the front desk, I asked for a new set of linen, which I would replace the housekeeper came with new sheets and said they had no comforters. Again calling the front desk, I insisted on new bedding. When the housekeeper returned, she had an attitude that was offensive. This was after I was going to replace the bedding myself. One of the food preparation women scolded me for not using the tong as she was standing there. Being blind in one eye and bad vision in the other, I almost knocked them on the ground because she left them on the counter and didn't return them before I attempted to get a muffin. all, but one day, they had no meats. One day, no potatoes or meats. A cheese omelet was the only choice. Out of the prepared food. The floors of the room were bare and transferred the smell of urine to my socks. After the comforter was replaced, the bed didn't smell anymore, The swimming pool was greener than the sehawks uniforms. Smoke detector parts were missing. The refrigerator had no shelfs. The bathroom had exposed sharp edges where a towel rack should have been Electric cords were looking like a fire hazard The door clearance on the bottom was allowing sound to travel between the hallway and room The staff were unfriendly unhelpful and uncaring. The grounds look like they were uncared for. It seems as if this property is...

The key cards would fail to read either on the exterior gate, side door from parking or the room itself. Half the time i would have to just take the long way around from my parking area and had to have the cards replaced 3 times during our stay. The carpet is so packed with grime that the floor ended up turning our socks and feet black. Had the cherry on top while gathering up our belongings, I would have never found this next bit if it wasn't for the fact i was looking for her missing airpod but when i moved the boxspring away from the wall, there was a used siringe with blood in it. How awesome. I grabbed a tissue and wrapped it up to take to the front counter to check out. The lady knew right off what I ment when I said, " looks like a previous guest forgot to collect all of their party supplies. Her only statement to men was I'll make sure houseeking is aware to be more thorough. The entire weekend my gaurd was up from watching how many junkies are skulking about the parking lot. I parked my vehicle just infront of my hotel room window so i can keep an eye on my car. This would be one of the only times I would have ammitted to wishing there should have been a higher police presence. At least the internet is high...
