Grandpa's Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

Have been coming here since i was 5 years old. My family made it tradition to go every friday. Since new management took over now twice i have had to wait 2 hours for my order. First time we sat down and had a huge crowd we watched while customers came in and and out and thought maybe it was cuz we had such a big party but no they forgot about us. How could they forget about a huge crowd sitting in their restaurant baffles me. Then just last night i order from them again this time for pick up they tell me 45 mins. I go exactly 45 mins later tell them i was there and AGAIN watching customers go in and out and this time im there for 35 mins and once i tell them they just hand over my order. It was cold zucchini was greasy and looked burnt. Horrible!!! Super sad too cuz Grandpas has always been my favorite, looks like i will have to look for a new spot now that i have...

Very disappointed, after coming here for years and asking for a cup for water! I am not a soda drinker, and we usually order a pitcher of beer, and I asked for a small cup for water. I was told they were in the back and "I assumed the guy would bring me one, but never did." I asked my boyfriend after several minutes and they tell him they ran out, so he asked if he can have a foam cup and he was told they ran out. After seeing several customers come in and pour soda with foam cups, I decided to go up. I asked; "Since you guys are out of cups for water can I have a foam cup?" The young man at the counter looks over at the other and says he's the boss and.. he says "Just give her a cup!" Wow! Won't be back her again....no way to treat customers ....And by the way, I returned your cup to the counter so you won't loose profit, I'm sure you may want...

One thing I cannot stand is poor customer service! Especially when I use my hard earned money for over-priced food. I come often enough and order the daily special (2 slices of pizza and 10 wings) that typically comes with two ranch dipping sauces. Today I ordered a 16” pizza & 25 wings and was given 1 ranch. When I asked for additional ranch + cheese I was told I must pay an additional 90c and when I asked why do I get more ranch with less food the response is “that’s just what you get. that’s just what it comes with” from the manager himself. No explanation not “sorry about the inconvenience” just short and snarky. I won’t come back though, i’ll visit the other two pizza spots in the plaza and will be happy to give my money to them! Bad...
