This might be one of the worst customer service food places I have ever been to.
Last night I went to their drive thru for a $6 pizza. There was 9 or so cars in front of me, and once you enter the drive thru lane there is no getting out of it. I was OK with having to wait, I did go during dinner time on a Saturday so I expected a wait.
After about 20 minutes I get to the drive thru counter. I had noticed a couple of the cars ahead of me stopped, talked to the cashier, then drove off. When I got to the cashier he said Hello, how are you? I said Fine, I would like the $6 pizza. The kid seemed confused, and I had to explain to him (the one with more cheese and pepperoni). He replied "That is going to be a 15 minute wait."
I was surprised, and asked for clarification on the wait time of 15 minutes. He said "Yes we are backed up." So I asked him if I could just have the $5 pizza, which says it is always ready between 4pm and 8pm. He replies "That is also a 15 minute wait. We are busy."
So I drove around the corner and parked right in front of the store. I see two guys at the counter inside, and one guy sitting down. I walk to the front door and the two guys are leaving. I close the door behind me, and approach the cashier. She grabs a pizza, calls out the name of the other guy sitting down, he takes his pizza and leaves. As this happens, I see at least 4 pizzas in their holding area, one of which is the $6 I initially asked for.
The cashier is pleasant and she asks me How can I help you? I ask her for the $6 pizza. She tells me total with tax, I give her the money, she gives me change, she turns around and grabs the $6 pizza out of the holding area and gives it to me.
So the guy at the drive thru, after waiting 20 minutes or so in a drive thru line, informs me that there is another 15 minute wait for the pizza I want. I drive 25 seconds to park, take 15 seconds to walk inside, 15 seconds to wait for my turn, and 30 seconds to order and complete the transaction. I am no math major, but 75 seconds does not equal 15 minutes to me.
I had told the cashier about what the drive thru guy told me. She said that maybe the pizzas were not made when I ordered. I told her I literally asked the guy one minute ago and I see at least 3 pizzas in your holding area with no other customers in sight. She shrugged her shoulders and said I do not know.
To wait as long as I did, to be told to wait longer, only to (as the customer) look inside and see that I was flat out lied to is poor service at its finest. I have had multiple issues with the service at this place, but never felt like I was flat out lied to. There are other pizza options customers can go to, and I will be exploring and enjoying those options in...
Read moreHard to get service and rude staff. Got there as a new delivery driver and didn’t know how to get the code for the hot box. The lady up front told me to check for the name on the screen when I asked. I misunderstood her thinking she said something about it not being ready. She looked at me like I was dumb and said in a condescending tone “so you gonna check that?” Understanding her now, I checked and the screen showing the names was broken. I informed her and she said “yeah it’s in there just put the code” and walked away. Figured out how to get the code and the wrong door opened leaving my order behind another hot box door. I was asking for help for many minutes before someone finally came back up to hand me the pizzas. That should’ve just been done in the first place. Also crazy bread and sauces weren’t in a bag which is unprofessional for a delivery.
I’ve worked as an assistant manager at a Caesar’s for almost two years before this. And me seeing this, you guys gotta get your stuff together. I understand being understaffed there too but there’s a better way of running things without being disrespectful to your drivers. Never delivering from this...
Read moreI had an issue with an order I placed online which is probably why I don't order from this store to begin with: 8929 N Central Ave #101, Phoenix, AZ 85020. I received the email with my kiosk code so when I went to pick it up the pizza boxes were empty. I ordered two pizzas and crazy bread WITH THE CRAZY SAUCE but the sauce was missing. I didn't check my order until I got home so I called the store asking for this to be rectified and was told by the worker "well you should have checked the order when you picked it up!" And that only a dollar can be refunded for the crazy sauce. This I felt was very unfair due to the two go together just HOW I ORDERED IT! When I asked to speak to the manager the response was they're not there and don't know the next time they are working because they don't have their schedule! This is by far the worst customer service I have dealt with and I have been in the service industry for over 15 years! I definitely will not be returning to this location and may not go to any others because of how I was treated! If I could have given no stars for service indeed I would...
