I have been a client for years already and this used to be one of my go to spots for food and juice.
I have been nothing but patient and considerate with the service;however Feb 14 was my last day at this place.
First incident:
I had ordered a burger to go at 6:20 am and was patiently waiting although on a rush. When I got my order, i left and once I got to school... I noticed there was no meat in my burger...it was just lettuce and tomato...I was shocked because I paid about 16-17 for just that. I called and got a refund and got offered a paid meal next time...I did not have time to get that offered meal and was still going to this place...but I stopped ordering food.
Second incident:
Feb 14: I had gone to Lucis to get my go to natural juice ...take into consideration that I spend $14-16 on a juice....
When I ordered my juice, I never expected them to add strawberry puree into the juice ....and had asked why they were putting it into the drink when they would always put real fruits not fructose.... Now the girl making it got mad and was telling me that the puree was natural...the fact this girl had the audacity to tell me and lie to me and argue about puree is nothing but disrespectful.... I go to this place because my juice used to be made NATURALLY....I cannot be consuming sugary stuff because I have an autoimmune disease that flares up due to starchy products..... I gave this girl a chance to get things right...however, what topped it off was her disrespect to not even fully fill my juice.. take into consideration I am paying $15 for a juice... now she was bothered because I decided to speak up about it needing more juice.....and she proceeded to add the stems of the strawberry because she was mad... I have never been in this situation and was astonished by this behavior...this girl needs to get FIRED immediately.... my goal was to get my juice and go because I had plans but I spent 30 min trying to get my juice...
from my experience, I highly not recommend this...
Read moreits a shame. 1st time we went earlier in the morning on a Sunday, no one else there, great service, good food. so good i wanted to go back. BUT. went on a Saturday at 10 and food was cold, eggs were wrong and it took me 3 times to go up and ask about a black coffee with flavored creamer. 1st time when i said excuse me to the guy making coffee said "nope" I thought it was funny and let it go he said it should be up soon, but never asked my name. 2nd time almost done with the cold biscuits and gravy (it didn't take long to get the food, but looked like the gravy had been sitting for awhile on the plate, solid and dry and the eggs were supposed to be over easy and they were broken and cooked through it wasn't like the 1st time we went). a young blond girl said "we will call you when it ready," again not asking my name. After I finish eating, I went up a 3rd time and the guy from the 1st time realize my plain black coffee with cream had been missed. And of course to top it off when i went to get creamer it was empty. Its sad that when a company becomes popular and they are well liked that sometimes they loose what is most important. Its not only filling the orders or keeping it clean, these are very important to any establishment. BUT your customers have chosen to come to your small busines rather than say Ihop for breakfast. Don't treat them with distain when they come asking about the order they paid for. Take a little time to actually act like you care about the customers. The guy who did finally get me the coffee was very nice and did apologize, cant say the same about the young girl who seemed very putout that I even bothered to ask her. So to break it all down..cold food bad service. Its shame, i really did like the...
Read moreMet two out-of-state friends for coffee around 11:30 on Wednesday, middle of the week. Not busy at all. I was immediately interested in browsing the little shop with unique items, but held off until after eating and drinking coffee. I ordered a 'fancy' coffee, but I don't remember seeing prices on the menu board, and I didn't ask. I would have loved a simple doughnut, but this is not something they have, so I ordered a 'double chocolate muffin'. I really should have asked the prices on the coffee and the muffin, but I guess I didn't want to seem 'cheap'. I went ahead and paid the $10.30. After sitting at a table, I began thinking about that, and it occurred to me that I could have gone to the big name coffee shop for that much, and I thought I was dodging the expense by going to Luci's ~ but no. $5.60 for coffee and $3.89 for the muffin - really not in my budget! Lesson learned; ask before ordering. Now, folks who are used to those prices wouldn't bat an eye, but to me, over 10 dollars is just too much. I didn't take much time to browse the store because the first thing I looked at, a mug, was $16.99. Ok, not going back. Having said all that, the coffee was good but nothing spectacular, but the muffin was great, and large enough to bring half of it home with me. So there is the good, the bad, and the ugly. Again, if you are used to prices like that,...
