In the trucking industry it can be hard to find decent food options late at night so we were pretty surprised to find this place when we pulled in to the truck stop at 1:30am. We had it delivered with door dash and received it within 30 minutes. This was the kinda no frills meal you'd expect with authentic Mexican food.. the taco salad was simply lettuce, cheese, beans and shredded marinated chicken on top of 2 warmed corn tortillas.. the enchiladas were simply shredded chicken no cheese. Chips and pico looked made in house.. the salsa (hot sauce) both green and red are very spicy!

Quality & quantity of food is horrible. For a little over $14 I got the smallest portioned plate of green chile. Dry rice, so dry it had crunchy peices. Beans def changed and the Green chile itself had very little sauce and flavor wasn't there. My plate looks like cafeteria food on a good day . I have given them multiple chances because its close by, but 3 strikes you're out! Safe to say I will not be going back

Too spicy! And I love spicy food! I ordered a side of sour cream to help, but my mouth was still on fire. Flavor was decent though, but the Chileques was not served like I’m used to. Beans were pretty decent. I probably wouldn’t go here again if I’m being honest, it’s way too expensive for what you get. Also to the poster that complained they didn’t get service, you order at the register!

You're day my wife would you covered from back surgery and she wanted a Taco Salad should I Google Taco Salads near me and came up with Taco Bell one or place I can't remember the other one and Mr. Leno. So I drove over to Mr Leno on McDowell road about a mile my from our place and she got a Chicken Taco Salad she said it wasn't bad, I got a Beef Chimichanga and by the time I got home it was real soggy. So at this point I could not recommend the Chimchag n being so soggy I could recommend this item We will give it another try n try something else. The girl behind the counter was very friendly n wore a mask all the time I was there but the guys in the cooking area in back did not have masks on while making our food or anytime while I was there in this pandemic if I go bad there n there aren't wearing a mask I will not stay that's...

Only .6 miles from Love's Truckstop, about 15 minutes walking distance and there are sidewalks, even over the highway for those truckdrivers that just want to get out of the truck a bit. Not your usual Mexican restaurant. Cafeteria style seating. You order your food over the counter and is served on paper plates. (For all you southerners, they do not serve sweet tea. Ugh!) The reviews werent kidding about the flavorless food. If you are looking for spice the only thing spicy is their hot sauce which is more hot than flavorful. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the tortilla that came with the fajitas, but I would save your money and just go to Jack-In-The-Box, which is closer to the truck stop and probably a...
