I ordered orange chicken and fried rice. I did not pick a delivery service. I just hit their Pei Wei tab. Anyway, about an hour and 10 minutes later the order arrives, but it's chicken wings and french fries. The delivery service they use sent me the wrong meal. When I called Pei Wei to try to discuss the matter the girl that answered the phone acted like she didn't understand what I was telling her. That's awfully possible because the music was playing so loud I don't know who could hear who. After getting nowhere with her I asked for the manager. I get the manager on the telephone, the Sunday night manager, and he basically said he couldn't do anything for me. I told him I was bringing the food that was wrongfully delivered to me to him and I was driving in to pick up my meal. He just wanted to credit the order. I wanted my food. I was starving by this point. Anyway, I had to get into my own car and drive down to this Pei Wei to pick up my own meal. The management did give me $17 in cash, however, my total was more than that. I don't know where they arrived at their figure but my total was $25.15. All in all, this was a horrible experience. I finally got to eat about 2 hours after I placed the order. I have been to many Pei Wei's in the Valley and have never been treated so rudely as I was at this one. Skip this restaurant and go somewhere else. When I did get the food home it was cold. It also looked like they gave me the bad pieces of chicken for my meal. Normally I don't have so much gristle in the chicken. I could only eat about half of it. Read moreOn a very busy day off running errands I stopped for a quick lunch at this location of Pei Wei, as I have for decades. Everything was as good as usual although very slow at 2:48 in the afternoon.
However, when reviewing my weekly receipts, on March 17th I noticed an inordinate amount on my receipt, 31.58 for 4 Crab Wonton's and a Kung Pao Shrimp entree with water to drink! Looking over the receipt I was mistakenly (??) charged for a glass of wine!
I called the restaurant and actually spoke to the man that took my order because he remembered me not only because he did not enter my rewards number for my order, but telling me I can enter that info on my 'App', which i told him I DO NOT, use 'Apps'.
He advised he would get in touch with his Manager to reach me about my refund.
I was impressed that said person contacted me within a few hours and advised "he would take care of it and asked for my email address, which i phonetically gave him.
He asked i send him a copy of the receipt and then asked for the last 4 digits of the card I used, which I did.
March 24th I texted the 'Manager' again to inquire what the status of my refund was and received no answer whatsoever.
I would caution, everyone/anyone to very carefully review their receipts for accuracy, before leaving cashier stand, for any business you use "plastic" to pay. Read moreI ordered a Thai basil chicken online for pickup. They were out of steamed chicken, which is fine. They called ahead and asked what other protein options I would like. I selected crispy chicken. However, The meal that was given to me did not have any Thai basil and snap peas in it. It also did not have any cashews, but instead it came with peanuts. I was very disappointed with my meal. It was not what I expected at all. I made a mistake and did not check it before I returned home with my meal. Therefore, I had no choice but we’re stuck with this meal. I had also ordered my meal fairly late at night, right before they were closing. I tried to call to resolve the issue but the store refused to pick up the phone because there was only 15 mins left before closing time. I kept calling and kept calling, but they would literally hang up the phone on me. I even took a screen shot of my call log because I was so upset. As you can see, each call was no more than several seconds because they were hanging up on me. Awful customer service. The store is supposed to be open until 9p. If you want to stop service at 8:45p then you should close at 8:45p, not 9p. It was the worst takeout experience and customer service experience that I had ever had.
