The food was good and the staff were friendly, although they were inattentive and somewhat disorganized. I had not been here before, so I saw people in line and got behind them. I was unaware that the food needed to be ordered on the opposite end of the register, so I stood in line for several minutes until another customer walked in and ordered behind me. I asked him if that's where food was ordered, and he informed me that it was. So I got behind him and ordered. Both employees on site - a young female and a young male - saw me but said nothing about ordering on the opposite end. And the female employee took another customer's order first even though I was in line first and had been waiting for several minutes! That's... insane. At the very least, a simple, "Sorry, thought you had been here before." explanation/apology would have been nice (I'm not a very demanding customer; I know how rude and obnoxious some customers can be, so I go out of my way to be polite to employees who work in fast food). But no, nothing. No acknowledgement of the inconvenience and mishap. Oh, well.
The sandwich was delicious, however. But 12 bucks for a 6 inch sandwich, a bag of chips, and a small soda is a bit too much. I'm not writing this restaurant off, but I'm in no hurry to...
Read moreOrdered the Veggie. Ask for artichokes and red peppers to be added. While the sandwich was getting it final toppings the clerk dropped it. Things happen no big deal. The manager stepped in and while remaking it said there was an extra charge for the peppers and artichoke. Whatever. Cashier rang me up. While the mgr was remaking sandwich the manager ask the cashier if she charged me for the extras. Cashier did not. Manager said she would have to ring me up again for the extra $2.50. Really??? (long line of people waiting) I said since I was already waiting extra time because they messed up and that I was already rung up that maybe she could ignore the extra charge. Mgr was pretty snarky saying she was not the one who dropped the sandwich and that she HAD to charge me more. Fine. Mgr then had to teach the cashier how to do what she was asking (again long line of people waiting) Got home --- Ends up mgr made the sandwich wrong and missed the avocado which is normally on it (an extra charge if not on the sandwich menu) - and missed other topping I ask...
Read moreUpdate: Lowering from a five star to a two star rating. Like many businesses they are asking for a tip with every transaction now. This is a common practice by bad management to have customers subsidize their employees pay rather than giving them a living wage. Pay your employees better, don’t make your customers fill the gap you have created by being greedy.
So I come here a lot...as in know my name, order, and regular time coming in by the staff a lot. What can I say? It's down the street from work and I like their specials! Over the ridiculous amount of times I've gone here I can say from numerous experiences they do a great job. Everyone is friendly, food is great, portions are great, price is great, and the restaurant is always clean. Only gripe I can find for this place is parking during the lunch hour which is annoyingly limited, but that's not necessarily something they can fix or their fault.
