We came here with friends, and we ordered the hot spinach artichoke dip appetizer along with a drink that was delicious. The dip was very good. They serve it with flatbread crisps, but imagine you have a nice bubbling skillet full of this dip, and you get six tiny pieces of flatbread and five baby carrots to scoop it all up with. We immediately asked for more of the flatbread because you could tell just by looking at it that it wasn’t going to be enough. By the time the flatbread came out, the rest of the dip had gotten ice cold, because it took so long, and after all that they only brought us two more pieces of flatbread. We all laughed when the waiter said that down and walked away. Ridiculous. I ordered the chipotle pasta, which was in a nice spicy creamy sauce. They made it gluten-free with rice pasta. Somehow I think the rice pasta was overcooked because it was very slimy and had a slippery texture that didn’t hold the sauce very well. I think it would’ve benefited from a different pasta choice but the chicken was good and the sauce was good with just enough heat. I should’ve just skipped everything else and gone straight for the tiramisu. I’m still thinking about it a week later. The menu says they have the only gluten-free tiramisu in Arizona. I don’t have a problem with gluten however, this tasted fantastic, very appealing, and if they hadn’t told me, it was gluten-free I would never have guessed. definitely the highlight of my evening. Once again, for the third time in a row, dining out, our waiter disappeared for a half an hour or more after dropping off dessert. We sat there chatting nicely, but we were ready to go because we had all worked a long day and we didn’t see our waiter for quite some time and finally when we said we were ready for the bill it was another 10 or 15 minutes before he came back with the bill. Then when he dropped off the credit card, he gave me the wrong person‘s credit card, and I had to track them down to get my own credit card back. I feel that they could do better. It wasn’t a horrible experience but I feel it could’ve been much better and I will hope to return and update this later.

Great food and even greater variety. I love how expansive their menu is - especially for vegetarians such as myself. I could probably order a different thing on the menu here every time I come and feel satisfied. Every single employee here I've talked to over the past year has been great. Props to the owners! From pizzas to pastas to salads this restaurant has immensely creative and tasty options for any palette. My *only* two issues are the price of food and the quality of the non-GF pizza. I've had their GF and regular pizzas and this may be the only place where the GF is better than the regular! Something about the non-GF crust feels too "national chain"-like, not too different from a Little Caesars or Domino's crust. Prices are sky high. Even with the Bidenflation economy, this is one of the most expensive spots that I enjoy. Why are places I frequent in the Biltmore or Keirland 2/3 the price of Picazzo's? Certainly the margins aren't that much worse. One MAJOR thing that could increase my frequency to the restaurant: stop charging $3 for olives. It's absolutely absurd when most Pizza parlors (even fancy ones) charge $0.50-$2 for black and green olives with $3 occasionally being reserved for more exotic olives such as Greek Kalamata or French Niçoise. A basic pizza with a single topping shouldn't cost somebody $30 when including tips. TL;DR: Absolutely phenomenal restaurant - but with extremely high prices. Go for the GF pizza over the regular one if you're getting a pie! Service is 👍

Long time customers with a recent series of poor experiences here. Our family typically eats once a week at Picazzo’s between this PV location and the Arrowhead location. We dine in and order to go. Due to slow service at the Arrowhead Picazzos’s we tend to favor PV. Staff members are friendly and orders come out in good timing despite being busy. Gluten free options are fantastic when they get the order right, we especially enjoy the gluten free tiramisu dessert as it is the only place in the valley that serves it. Leaving an updated review after our third consecutive week having dinner at Picazzo’s. Upon arrival tonight, the restaurant entrance had a sewage stench. We were sat on the far end away from the odor. The smell is of note, however not the reasoning for this review which comes after sending a dish back for a third week in a row. “Plain butter linguine”. Not parsley linguine, not oil and garlic, not zucchini pasta. Last week we sent the dish back twice, tonight we sent it back only to receive it incorrectly again. Not wanting to send it again after discovering the garlic oil, we accepted it and the rest of the table packed up our meals and left disappointed. Third time does it for us; lesson learned 🤡 Servers double checked our preferences each time writing the order correctly, somehow the kitchen misses the mark. Cannot in good conscience recommend eating here. If you are looking for gluten free pizza, pasta salad- there are a great many other options in the...
