Review! If you’ve never heard of Shawn Mahoney, you certainly are going to NOW! She is a Master Stylist with over 30 year’s experience. She is located around Tatum and Cactus, at the Sola Salon Studios. 4727 E Cactus Rd, Scottsdale Rd. 85254. It’s a community of cosmetologists, all in one building. This is my first haircut in two years. I have mid-long length hair, that I’m constantly pulling back or pulling up. Never letting it touch my face. I have pretty decent hair color, dark -chestnut brown. But, it looks horrible and it makes me feel terrible. I was lucky enough to get in to see Shawn, today. I had 15 pictures to look through with her, that I was inspired by. We stopped on one picture in particular, and the process began. She started by cutting off large pieces of my hair. There was so much she had to sweep it all up, then she methodically went around my head to achieve the short style I was looking for. As it was getting shorter she would make sure I was okay with it.
