I went to the one on E Thomas Road. Usually, they have lots of customers at the drove thru (the waiting line was even on the street every day). I was so curious about their food and see why they are so popular. However, I don’t want to wait too long in line. On a Saturday evening last month (1/29/2022), I finished shopping and drove by this restaurant. I saw that there was a short waiting line at the drove thru. I thought it was a good opportunity to try their food. While I was waiting in line in my car, there was an employee holding a tablet and he was walking around to talk to people inside the cars in the waiting line. Obviously, he was helping people to order the food. I don’t know why they are doing this way. I haven’t seen the menu yet and I did not know what to order. Thus, I pulled out my phone to check their menu online. While the webpage was still loading, this employee came to me and asked me what to order. I told him that I haven’t been here before, and I didn’t know what to order. He told me that they have fried chicken and sandwich, in a combo or not. There were lots of cars behind me after I got here. I didn’t take too long, and I ordered some fried chicken. When I drove by the big menu board. I saw their food photos. I changed my mind. However, that employee was still talking to other customers in the back. I was the 2nd or 3rd customer outside the checkout window. I thought I could not change the order. Fortunately, the guy was walking toward me, I waived at him and told him that I wanted to change my order. He changed the order for me and then I drove to the checkout window. They almost charge me the old order price with the old order. I told them my new order. When I picked up the food in the next window. They were still confused with my order. I had to confirm my order with them one more time. I checked my order when I received my food (a few fried chicken pieces, not a combo). I asked them if there is any sauce come with the order. The girl who gave me the food was impatient and yelled at me that I had to pay for the sauce. She questioned me that I did not pay for any sauce and why should I request the sauce??!!!! I told her that I didn’t know that the sauce is not free (I have never thought that this restaurant even charged ketchup fee because the guy, who helped me order the food, didn’t tell me about it) . I apologized to her and told her I didn’t know that the ketchup is not free. She heard my words, and she knew that she misunderstood me. She told me that the ketchup was free, but the Cane sauce was not free. I asked her what cane sauce is, she told me that is a signature sauce. Since she made a mistake, so she gave me a sauce for free. After I got the order, I drove back to home. My home is 5 mins away from the restaurant. When I got home, I opened the box and saw the food. The batter on the chicken was not 100% covered. The chicken was not as crispy as I expected (5 mins of driving back home + a few mins for me to get ready to eat), the chicken should be crispy, but not. I bitted the chicken; the taste was ok. The batter had the taste but not the chicken meat. The chicken meat itself was kind of bland. I dipped the chicken into the cane sauce. The cane sauce was not especial. It tastes like the Yum Yum Sauce in Hibachi restaurants, which is even better than the cane sauce. I am very disappointed about the food quality and the restaurant employee attitude. I don’t think I would ever go back to any Chicken...
Read moreI was in here earlier today at around lunch time 1 or so, I came through the drive-thru and ordered my chicken extra crispy, because if you're like me, you like your chicken to be a little more well done, you know that smell from in between the chicken tender, I can't stand that slimy substance, or the way it smells, but I found that when you ordered this chicken extra crispy the smell and the slimy substance in between the chicken tender goes away. However, back to my experience with this raising Cane's Chicken, maybe there were in a rush I don't know? But my chicken did not come out extra crispy, matter of fact I think it was a little under then usual, I tried calling you several times to no avail. I figured I will go back later and let one of the managers know, so I come back at around 6 for dinner, explain to the manager on duty his name is Seth, he told me that he will take care of it. However, when my meal is ready, he asked me to pay for it over again. Now whatever I don't really care it's only 8bucks, but it just seems very unprofessional to me, and not very management like. So I paid for my food over again, see it's not that I want free food, it was the principle of the matter, of course I will pay for this food that I'm ordering now because Seth made sure that the chicken was crispy and to my liking, but what about the chicken that I didn't eat? I don't know I guess I might get 50/50 replies but I also am a manager and I work in customer service for 14 years, this was just very unusual to me, and not the way that I would run a business, especially a big name like raising Cane's. So just make sure your chicken it's perfect and to your liking before you go home waste all your gas time and money, don't eat lunch and have a bad day before you go home. Besides that everything is okay. I would rate this raising Cane's no higher than any other fast food chain like McDonald's or Burger King, it kind of has the feel of the projects, rather...
Read moreThis canes location currently has proficient staff, and it is overall a great clean store with amazing food. The chicken is always juicy, and their prices are very fair.
This location looks like many other canes restaurants. There is always a very long line through the drive through, that at this location causes major traffic issues. Sometimes the line piles up down the actual road, causing a major hazard for other drivers.
Their parking lot it a little small, you may during busy times find it difficult to park and go inside.
The store has always been very clean, and the atmosphere is gentle and welcoming. I always enjoy eating inside and relaxing. The condiments and drink area are always well kept and stocked. The seats are usually very clean and the trashes always have room to throw away your garbage at the end of the meal.
Bathrooms can at times be a bit untidy, and taggers have made their way into the restrooms at this location. They have now put locks on the bathroom doors that used to be open. This can cause an inconvenience for some customers rushing to the bathroom.
Food has always been generally quick, but there is a bit of a wait. They call out peoples names for their orders, but this can get difficult trying to hear over the loud music and people talking. You may at times be straining to hear weather or not they called your name or not.
Food portions have always been generous and the taste and quality is unlike any other restaurant of its type. Sorry church's chicken, this place has you very beat.
If you don't mind some potentially minor inconveniences with this location, you will enjoy your stay as well as your meal. Staff are very willing to help you and make sure that you leave as happy as you could. And I have always...
