I tried what seemed to be a strawberry shortcake cupcake; it was alright. I think the trouble with pastries, especially in America is they tend to be overly sweet, so you get less of a strawberry flavor, and more of a general sugar flavor. I think it can be improved using a strawberry compote in the middle of the cupcake. I also thought the cake itself tasted a bit similar to a boxed cake you can buy at the grocery store, which was disappointing. I think it would be better if they used vanilla beans in their cake and made it less dense. I think I definitely needed more strawberry throughout. I tried some of the other cupcakes, and unfortunately they were inedible due to perfume taste coming from the cupcakes (likely due to cross contamination from someone wearing perfume...

I heard by word of mouth this place was good! Oh my! It’s sinful. I had a dozen to go cupcakes. Vanilla, chocolate, and the red velvet. All were phenomenal. Moist texture, Which I have noticed a lot of bakeries here in the valley have cakes as dry as the desert itself. I was Extremely surprised to have a baked Product that wasn’t dry. In my opinion, the red velvet is the best flavor, The others are great you can’t go wrong either way. I will be back for sure. Service was wonderful and friendly. Only thing I say is go before close to closing time because they were sold out of a lot of cupcakes flavors and I went in the afternoon just before closing. Next time I’m going to order ahead of time so I can try some...

Was convinced this bakery was going to be great as the reviews were very positive. Came for my bday. Presentation was 100! I really wanted to love these but was underwhelmed as they all tasted the same. Purchased vanilla, strawberry shortcake, cookie monster and red velvet. Same frosting recipe used on all cupcakes - red velvet lacked that cocoa flavor one expects from red velvet, strawberry shortcake was a vanilla cupcake with a little strawberry drizzle and strawberry slice on top, cookie monster was a chocolate cupcake but lacked chocolate flavor. Vanilla was just that vanilla so no complaints there. I think with a few tweeks to recipes will make this place much better (use quality...

Saw the owner on the news ABC15 news sharing her story about her recipes and her new bakery. I love baked goods, especially cupcakes. I ordered 6 cupcakes Lemon, Vanilla, Red Velvet, Caramel Vanilla, and Butter Cookie. I only tried 2 so far, which were the Red Velvet and Caramel Vanilla. The cupcakes was so moist, fresh and full of flavor. Let me say this, I HATE Red Velvet cake. I tried so many, and every last one of them were nasty. When I took one bite of this, Red Velvet cupcake it woke up my taste buds, and they started having a party telling me to keep pass the cupcake this way 🤣. Now I understand why she named her bakery Red Velvet Bakery, because her recipe for red velvet is out of this world.

Red Velvet Bakery is probably one of the best hidden gems in the Phoenix area — and I’m almost hesitant to share how good it is because I want to keep it all to myself! Every time I go, I end up stuffing my face (no shame!) — especially with their cheesecake. It’s insanely rich, creamy, and just melts in your mouth. You can tell everything is made with love and top-quality ingredients. The flavors are bold, the texture is perfect, and honestly, it’s become a bit of an addiction. The staff is always friendly, and the vibe in the shop is cozy and welcoming. Whether you’re picking up something sweet to go or just treating yourself, you cannot go wrong here.
