Caution!! Stay date 10/26/2023. While the customer service at check in was great, my overall experience with my stay was not. Let me explain; 1. Booked this room and paid with advance pay...don't do it as choosing this option you cannot cancel, get refund or move dates. 2. Arrived to check in and the room I had already paid for a queen queen was not available..HMMM, I paid for it why was it overbooked with someone else? I needed this due to the amount of people staying in the room, the only thing available was a king room took it anyway since I had already paid for a room. Waked into this room and it had not been serviced by house keeping and was not ready. Clerk move us to another room which the condition was terrible and you can see by the pictures has a lot of deferred maintenance that needs to be done. Carpets dirty and stained, pills left under the AC unit on the floor, toilet seat not the right size for toilet, calcium buildup on shower and sink faucet, shower had very little pressure and it dripped all night soaking the floor rug we put down, walls had water damage and walls in the room were stuffed with paint damage, stove was not clean on top. Room really creeped out the family so much we left early and lost money in doing so. 3. Facility grounds were a mess, overfull trash cans, trash every where. This property is next to a retention basin that the homeless use. I would recommend finding another property across the road or across I10 and pay a little more for a decent property. 4 star reviews on google make no mention of the room disrepairs, I doubt ours was the only room with these like issues. I rate it a 2 star only because of the friendliness of the clerk and her efforts which we appreciated. I will not be back to this property or any other Extended Stay America Property.

As an expert reviewer with over 300 reviews and over 50,000 views, I very rarely give a one star review, but in this case, if I could give no stars, I would. I arrived at 2 am and after going through the hassle that this people don't even know what is available and what not, I was too tired to argue. I only wanted to go to sleep. After I finally had my room key in my hand and I opened the door to my room, I was overwhelmed by the stench that was in that room. Like cold, old, stale, mixed human sweat. Something like a rotten onion heap with vinegar. I usually don't complain, but it was unbearable. I was given a second option and upon entering that room, it smelled clearly like a smokers room, also extremely disgusting. The third room was a bit better, it only smelled like a dog park on a rainy day. In the meantime, it was 3 am (5am for me, because I came from the East coast) and I was too tired. The entire experience was GROSS and DISGUSTING! The bed linen looked used and cheap, the floor and carpet grossed me out and the toilet was not properly cleaned. After the shower I grabbed a "clean" and folded towel and it had the dame exact odor as the first room. SUPER DISGUSTING!!!!! NEVER AGAIN EXTENDED STAY OF AMERICA!!!

I have never met an entire staff that works as hard as these employees to make your stay exceptional! I highly recommend this business if you are staying in the area. I was a guest here for literally over 30 days, and every time I either entered or left the hotel, I would see employees fixing light fixtures, changing out burned out light bulbs, installing upgraded flooring, wiping down the elevator, cleaning windows, etc. When I had an issue with my room key not working, they gave new keys with a smile. When that didn't work they had Maintenance come within an hour to fix the lock. When I needed anything there was always someone instantly available to help. The rooms and facilities are more than adequate for a long stay. Nowadays breakfast is coffee and hot chocolate, oatmeal, granola bars, and prepackaged muffins. Clothes washers and dryers are $2 each. Housekeeping for long term stays is once a week. Plenty of free parking and the employees always greeted me with kind words and smiles. Everything you need and more! This hotel rates 5+ stars in my book. What are you waiting for???

Do not stay at this hotel. The General Manager Christine Scantton needs to be fired. She talks about the Assistant General Manager in the front lobby with her other staff. If she doesn't like the questions you ask her she will happily tell you to get out. During my several months there the bathroom toilet over flooded at 3:30 am. Awoke to hear running water. When I got out of the bed to go check I stepped into ice cold water up to my ankles. When I asked about moving to another room. I was told that if I didn't like it here I could leave. ||||I made a complaint to guest services because the elevator didn't work for over four weeks. The day I went down 3 flights of stairs with 3 loads of clothes to wash. After putting liquid detergent in the washers I noticed the washers wasn't working. Rosanne the Assistant Manager said that the routers was down.. I decided to wait around until the routers were backup. After 20 minutes the routers was up. There was not mention of the washers or dryers weren't working. ||||After my wash was over. I tried to use the dryers. The routers were down again, still no notice posted anywhere mentioning this. I then had to pull 3 loads of wet clothes up 3 flights of stairs. I spent 2 weeks off work due to injurying my back. When I brought it to Christine attention she told me there was nothing she could do. I would have to call corporate. ||||I contacted guest services several times with no success. Rosanne reached out to the Regional General Manager. He stated in order for me to be compensated for my missed days off work due to my back injury I needed a doctors notice. In the meantime, he would credit my account for two days. Once I obtained the doctors notice. Christine immediately intervened telling me that the Regional Manager only authorized 4 more days. She then lied saying I refused the credit. I left several messages to client services for the Regional until it was escalated to the VP. Unfortunately, I received no response back. ||||In the meantime, Christine and Quita moved a very loud man next door to us. He would bang on the wall all times at night. He would scrap things against the wall at 2 and 3 in the morning. He and his guest would get extremely loud. After a few weeks he checked out. He came back and started all over again. Christine was aware and she and Quita worked together to harass us. ||||Three weeks prior to that everyone was awaken by a fire alarm. One of the rooms caught on fire. One of the tenants set it on fire trying to cook meth. When the air freshener dies down you can smell it. The floors are very hollow on the 3rd floor, especially before you reach room 321.||||Our last day there was Christine yelling at me telling me I can't talk to tenants who have experienced the same type of treatment that she has given me. There was another African American woman whose toilet flooded her entire room. She was trying to figure out why would she be told to get out. She said she asked Christine to move her to another room but was told to leave. I mentioned to the woman to get in contact with guest services. Christine daughter and son ( who should not be working at the same place) overheard me tell the woman what to do. When I came down to complain about the man returning and making noise next door to me, again. Christine said I had no right talking to the guest and started screaming "get out, I'm going to call the police." She even said, that I her son said that called her racist. After her performance in the lobby with customers watching I definitely said that it was very unusual to only put African descendants out of the establishment. I mentioned that she would move other people with no question. Executive Management is part of the problem, they never respond back. Don't spend your money here. Yes, she is a racist and she needs to...

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality by the dedicated team led by General Manager Savannah, Assistant Manager Christina, and their incredible staff. Savannah, Christina, and the entire staff run a very assertive yet customer-friendly hotel, proving that just because the building is 25 years old doesn't mean it should be run that way. They do a phenomenal job of taking care of it.

Let me start by praising the front desk team, including Tiffany, Michele, Rozanne, Samantha, and Tiriah. These individuals truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request or inquiry was remarkable. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made me feel like a valued guest throughout my entire stay.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to the housekeeping team, led by Zaida and Jacob. The cleanliness and tidiness of my room were impeccable. Zaida, Jacob, and their team worked diligently to ensure that my accommodations were always in pristine condition. Their efforts were evident in every aspect of my stay, making me feel right at home.

Furthermore, the maintenance team, headed by Dylan, deserves special recognition. Whenever I encountered any minor issues or needed assistance, Dylan and his team were quick to respond and resolve the matter efficiently. Their promptness and expertise ensured that I had a worry-free stay, allowing me to focus on enjoying my time at the hotel.

Not only was the staff exceptional, but the amenities and services provided were outstanding as well. The comfortable and well-appointed room exceeded my expectations. The fully equipped kitchenette allowed me to prepare my own meals, adding convenience and flexibility to my stay. The complimentary Wi-Fi provided seamless connectivity, ensuring I could stay connected with ease.

The location of Extended Stay America Phoenix Chandler Area was also ideal. It was conveniently situated near local attractions, shopping centers, and dining options, making it effortless to explore the area and discover the vibrant surroundings.

In conclusion, my experience at Extended Stay America Phoenix Chandler Area was truly mind-blowing.
