I had the grand idea of hosting our own co-ed baby shower without realizing what exactly that meant for the budget of the event. Compared to an all-ladies traditional baby shower that may have finger foods and appetizers, hosting a co-ed baby shower, much less one in the evening once the summer sun goes down and it's cool enough to venture outside of your house, requires a hearty meal to serve your guests where they won't walk away hungry. We hosted our shower at Mini Social in Old Town Scottsdale and were provided information of several of their "preferred" caterers that had worked the venue site previously. Upon receiving quotes for those vendors, I had sticker shock from the prices (we're talking $40-$50 a person for just food, no alcohol - chicken dishes, not steak). We were close to cancelling the shower completely and accepting the loss of the deposit we had for the venue, until I started Googling more affordable caterers that had quality food. I found Sharko's on WeddingWire (and, no, I didn't mention to my husband that I was desperately looking for baby shower caterers on a wedding website). Their reviews on WeddingWire intrigued me and their Google reviews held just as strong. For less than half of what we were originally quoted from the "preferred" caterers at the venue site, we had an amazing meal that our nearly 40 guests raved about. My husband had one request for the shower: Mexican food. And Sharko's didn't disappoint! We served Sharko's grilled chicken quesadillas, cheese enchiladas, grilled steak fajitas, warm flour tortillas, Spanish rice, Southwestern style black beans and tortilla chips and salsa. Everything was fantastic and we still had over a week's worth of leftovers after the event. Jacalyn was wonderful to work with, incredibly responsive and really made the whole process the easiest part of our shower. I was concerned that I had a few less attendees for the shower than originally anticipated and reached out to Sharko's 12 days before the event to see if I could lower my guest count (usually there's a strict timeframe of no less than two weeks before an event to change your order), and Jacalyn immediately updated our order without any questions asked. The delivery of the food was just as spectacular. Great service, on-time, we we're thrilled with the entire experience. Wow! Just wow! Where do I even begin? Our wedding day (March 9th) was an absolute dream come true, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible team at Sharko's. From the moment we reached out to them, their communication was impeccable. They were responsive, attentive, and truly cared about our wedding! Jacalyn was our main contact and was so kind, sweet, understanding, and helpful in all the decision-making!

Firstly, let's talk about the food. It was beyond delicious! Our guests are still raving about the food served at our cocktail hour and reception! From the appetizers to the main course, every bite was perfection. The presentation was beautiful! The team did farm-to-table for our family table and everyone was beyond thrilled with the taste and delivery! The team made sure I (the bride) and the groom were fed and the food was warm! We had a high guest count approx. 300 for service and everything went flawlessly thanks to Sharko's! I never expected to have so many compliments about the food for my wedding, but we have, which makes my heart so happy!!

What truly sets Sharko's apart is their all-around service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, and professional, and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. The set up and added little touches to each of the food tables went with our decor and made everything look that much more fabulous!

My now wife and I recently experienced some of the most excellent, responsive and considerate service that we could have ever hoped for. We booked Sharko's Catering for our wedding that was originally to be held in 2020, however due to COVID-19, it had to be postponed to this year (yesterday to be exact). We dealt mostly with Gerard Sharko, who smoothly accommodated our date change and maintained active and clear communication throughout the process. From the moment we visited Sharko's Catering for a sampling of food, we immediately recognized a level of professionalism and class that we frankly hadn't experienced with prior catering companies whose services we samples.

What makes them stand out to us is the fact that they were so willing to work with us for a variety of changes/potential difficulties. We had our wedding in Flagstaff. The fact that they were willing to travel for us was already very nice. Beyond that, however, our wedding venue did not have a fully functioning kitchen. Gerard and Sharko's Catering, however, were able to accomodate with a portable oven. I could spend an hour writing about all of the little details, but the bottom line is, they will take care of you and offer any level of service required (including bringing a very capable bartender). And man, the service yesterday on the day of the wedding was OUTSTANDING! Such that I had people asking how to go about tipping just because of how attentive they were to their service.
