Overall, solid sushi spot. Ordered a to go order for their takoyaki, spicy fresh water eel roll, and sushi combo (spicy tuna roll, accompanied by 6 pieces of nigiri. I was disappointed by the takoyaki as it was missing both aonori (dried powdered seaweed) and katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes). While I do not think the omission of these two toppings "ruin" the takoyaki, I believe that these two toppings enhance the aesthetics and overall taste of takoyaki. So, huge bummer. Especially because the primary reason for me wanting sushi/japanese is because I had a huge urge/craving for takoyaki. Anywho, proceeding to the sushi. Decent, adequately fresh. The nigiri was very on par with my other go to sushi places. I will definitely make it a point to dine in one of these days to get the full experience as I've read from other reviewers that the customer service and warmth of the employees is great. I may even update my review if my dine in experience is positive. I also need to try a few of their specialty rolls, a lot of them sound very tasty (though I wish they would not have so many with cream cheese. Cream cheese just deducts from their authenticity, imo..). Also need to sample their sashimi. Regardless, I am happy they are in the...

There is not enough stars listed here to give this place. For the life of us, we can NOT figure out why this place is not the most happening spot on a Friday night. Or, maybe it’s cuz it’s a holiday weekend. But, we went stumbling about looking for a place near there, and ended up at Sushi Michi. We spied the reviews and decided to give it a try. We sat at the bar and had the nicest sushi chef serving us, by the name of Puma (not sure how you spell it.) who was from Burma (though, it broke our heart that he was surprised we knew where Burma was was).

I wish I could recall everything we ate, but to name a few: escolar (which Puma had us sample) the sweet shrimp, unagi (pictured), salmon, snapper , something that we don’t know the name (but it was FABULOUS) and some other stuff.

The service was amazing, I wish I could remember the hostess/waitresses name. She was the sweetest person ever!! The food was fresh, like very fresh. Even the rice was fluffy and light which you NEVER find at most places. We simply can’t rave enough about this place. But they have definitely earned...

Ordered spicy ramen with beef from the Sushi Michi lunch special "Happy Hour" menu, and I have to say I don't think I've ever been so intensely disappointed by ramen before. I would've been happier setting my $13.50 (before tax/tip) on fire and trying to eat that instead.

The ramen was made with instant cup noodles, you know, the super cheap stuff with no flavor, no body, and pathetic texture? The noodles were still hard in places when I started trying to eat them. This was topped with about five total tiny, tough, and paper-thin pieces of beef.

To round out this failure of a ramen bowl, the "spice" in the broth seemed to be just one full container of cayenne pepper with no real flavor.

The lunch special includes 3 gyoza. These were simply microwaved from frozen. I gave them away.

I did not try the sushi, but two other people left a substantial portion of their sushi rolls behind on the table when they left. Not a good sign.

I have absolutely no idea where they're getting good reviews from, based on this experience. They were not rude, the food was...

This is my third visit since it newly opened. I am a sushi addict and I am so happy to have found here. I am very satisfied with both the taste and service. The chef who made the sushi helped me enjoy my meal, and the server was very friendly. My favorite menu item is Hwae Dup Bap. Highly recommended if you like rice and spring mix. This time I tried Seafood noodle soup and fresh salmon and it was fantastic. If you like salmon and shrimp, I highly recommend the fesh salmon, and if you like spicy seafood, try the seafood noodle soup! Lastly, the roll called Nicole was a fantastic combination of eel, salmon, and tuna.

A great locally owned restaurant! Great and happy staff, extremely clean interior and good vibe. Also, the food is fantastic! A little on the pricer side but definitely worth the extra money just because their rolls are FULL, I mean seriously they’re huge and no loss in quality due to their size. A large menu but we tried a little from every section and nothing disappointed. Their appetizers are delicious, we tried the Tom & Jerry, which was a fried rice topped salmon and a tangy sweet sauce. My favorite off of their special menu was the Alexandra, it’s on the spicer side but was a great choice.
