The Phoodery is a fantastic open-air gathering spot that offers a wide variety of foods, microbrews, and non-alcoholic options. Since it's opening, it has become a popular and thriving addition to our local community.
As someone who loves exploring different flavors and culinary traditions, I’m always on the lookout for meals that really bring textures and tastes together into something memorable. While I’ve tried a mix of dishes here, I was especially excited when I finally stopped by Truffle Pig after a glowing recommendation from a friend.
Last Friday night, I ordered the Green Chile Falafel Burger with a side of the White Truffle Fries, and it did not disappoint! When asked, Chef Aspen assured me the falafel would deliver on my expectations — and he was right! It was hands-down the best falafel I’ve had in the Valley: crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and beautifully balanced with the flavors around it. The truffle fries were equally delicious, golden and crisp with just the right touch of truffle salt.
Beyond the food, what truly stood out was the team. The staff of four that evening radiated pride, care, and attentiveness—I honestly thought I was being served by owners. Aspen even encouraged me to return after the meal and share feedback, which shows the level of commitment they have to their craft and customers.
I’d happily recommend Truffle Pig to anyone visiting the Phoodery, and I’m already looking forward to exploring more of their menu next time.
Great job, Truffle Pig team—thank you for the delicious food, your warm hospitality, and for truly valuing your...
Read morePosting my thoughts since I saw a recent complaint on the "service" that I disagree with. The complaint was about the menu stating that the meat is cooked to pink, but that "medium well" was not an option. The meat is normally cooked to medium well, with only a slight touch of pink, so for them to knock it without trying is a little ridiculous. They probably don't use steak terms because it's made with ground beef, not filet mignon. Edit: Added a picture of the classic with fries as it comes. Hopefully this can shed some light on "how pink is pink?"
Best burgers I have ever tried, hands down. It takes a little time to get your order, but the cook makes burgers that will blow your taste buds away. I'm amazed honestly that someone would even post a review and admit they didn't really try it. I have never had an issue with the service, only with the fact that I can't eat another burger anywhere else without it seeming dull anymore.
I recommend the truffle shuffle burger, but don't remove any ingredients. I thought at first that blue cheese would be weird, but it compliments the rest of the flavors so well. If you want more flavorful fries, skip the combo add-on and get the white truffle fries. They also have great house made dip, including ranch and truffle aioli. If you're balling on a budget, go for the classic with regular fries to save...
Read moreI can’t review the food particularly, only the level of service. When I approach the counter to order for my family, I had the intention of ordering a couple burger combos. Their menu stats their burgers are cooked to pink unless otherwise specified. I place my order for a cheeseburger and asked that it be cooked medium well, so just a little pink. This particular order was for my toddlers, who will not eat a pink burger, or a patty that is too well done
The lady at the counter says “it’s either pink or it’s not”. My husband politely asked, how pink is pink, knowing this was for our toddlers. She says it’s pink. I will not be visiting this food truck again, or suggesting it to anyone either. If you are gonna be in the restaurant business and serving meat, expect to make it in variations. Especially when your menu states to be specific if you don’t want...
