J's Ice Cream Parlor — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

This place is about as Mom and Pop as it gets. There is only one person working that I have ever seen, presumably the owner, and her son is usually in the adjacent room playing on his phone. The service can be slow when there is a line due to this, but the taste of her ice cream is second to none and worth the wait. The prices are reasonable and there are lots of offerings, including dipped cones, sundaes, splits, milkshakes and an Italian ice/soft serve combination they call a Latti.
