Panera Bread — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

I been getting bread every weekend till on 12/11/2016 I walked into the store and since i did not see any Sourdough loaves on the stacks , i Asked the cashier if she had any sourdough loaves in the back, she went and checked she comes back and she says there is one available then I asked her are you able to sell me one of the white loaves you have on the rack by the oven, she says let me ask my manager; the manager comes to the front and he says I cannot sell you any of the breads in the back because is for today, then I says what's the point of being a Bakery if you are jot going to sell me any bread, he didn't have an excuse (he didn't care) then he says to the cashier the sourdough you offer it was let for tonight when I heard that I told him I did not want the bread anymore give me the money back. then I says to the cashier sorry for getting you in trouble for trying to sell me the sourdough you had in the back.

Resumen. The manager didn't care and he did not want to sell me any bread, he was picking on the cashier for offering a bread He was saving for no reason plus He did not had any identification with his name on it.

I give them 2 stars because their food is delicious plus the bread is awesome. but the fact I couldn't get my bread I am not going back to...

I am writing this review to highlight the above and beyond customer service of one of the employees. We visit Panera bread at the Pico Town center almost daily, my wife enjoys their freshly brewed Tea. On March 31, the tea ordered had a funny taste(old tasting) so she asked one of the assistants behind the kitchen if she could get a fresh one from the back... the assistant's response was that it wouldn't make a difference, it was all the same, even after my wife expressed it tasted funny(Old). He wouldn't assist her.

Madeline(front counter) asked if everything was ok? As we explained the situation, she told us she'd see what she could do for us. About 10 mins later she came back with a freshly cup of brewed tea and apologized for any inconvenience. :)

People like Madeline who goes above and beyond to address/satisfy any concerns that a customer may have are huge reasons why my wife and I will continue coming back to this location.

She was courteous, polite and sympathetic about my wife's tea concern and dislike.

The taste on the food is bad. The kitchen staff were friendly but the cashiers need to be a bit more talkative when asked questions. The portions were ridiculously small to the prices, the pizza was both over and undercooked (This coming from someone that made Pizzas for 5 years for a living) the cookie was not soft and tasted like pure sugar, the smoothie and Chai tea latte had a wierd bitter taste to it as well as the tomato soup and this is the first place I go to in the which the don't add a dressing for a salad. I understand that at times it isn't the employees that are at wrong, but the procedures imposed by corporate that are what is wrong. Just keep in mind that it doesn't matter how fresh or high quality food is, if it doesn't taste anywhere as good as it looks, there really is no point.
