I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry Plate and it was terrible. The cook put way too much salt and pepper on the food...so much that I could not eat it. I thought I better get a second opinion and my daughter said the same thing. The other orders came out good. The portions were great, service excellent, but my order was inedible, sorry to say. The owner or cooks need to taste their foods before serving it...maybe the cook's taste buds were burned out by eating too many peppers or just eating too much spicy foods. I would rather add my own spices if that...

This place is one of my favorite Hawaiian barbecue spots in L A. And while there’s many of these, this particular location is one of the best. Generous food portions, you can probably share one plate, that’s how much food they serve. Katsu chicken is the best, they have an amazing Spam Musubi. Brings back memories. I lived in Hawaii and eaten at L&L Hawaiian BBQ many times. So my expectations were a bit high and displaced did not disappoint. I ordered the mixed grill and it was delicious. The meat and macaroni were excellent. The white rice was white rice. Definitely taste at the food I had in Hawaii. If I had one negative view, it would be the price, $17 for the plate, but I guess it’s a sign of inflation in...
