Tina's — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

We saw the high reviews and were wondering how we've lived in the area for so long and had never eaten here. We decided one night to give the restaurant a shot. We started with a Jamaica and horchata and both were delicious. Homemade and authentic. The chips and salsa were also delicious. We both had high hopes for our food but the luck ran out there. The shredded beef tacos were scarce of any beef. The beans and rice were bland. My husband's shrimp were dry and rubbery. The fries are pretty much pre-cooked potato wedges. I have no way to explain them other than to say they were not good. On the plus side the service was A+. The other down side was that it says they take credit cards but really don't. They have an ATM located in the restaurant that they have you use to get cash. Im not sure how or why this place has such high remarks but I personally...

The place is awesome. Though the place is small the love they have for their customers is humongous. The food is amazing. They have lots of patience when they serve the customers. I am an Indian and it was difficult for me to understand the menu, they patiently explained what each item was and help me decide my order. Overall its a great place and I hope they keep serving their customers with the same love...

Excellent food and service, Candida she checks up on me how's everything do you need more coffee or water. Javier is the cook very nice man he will interact with the customers he's a great cook, then there's a gentleman never caught his name very nice as well I rate this restaurant 5 stars.
