My family and I stopped by here after visiting the mall and we saw on Google Maps that they sold traditional Mexican dishes. We were happily greeted by the owner who offered us some menus and was very patient with us as we looked at the offerings. I opted for the Flautas Combo which came with 4 chicken flautas dressed with crema, cotija cheese, and shredded lettuce, as well as a side of Mexican rice and refried beans. We were also offered some frijoles charros to enjoy while our food was being prepared. My mom and the owner had a nice talk about Mexico and the cooking styles similar to how they were also using in the restaurant. After our plates were ready, we were happily directed to the salsa bar by the coolers to help ourselves to whatever complimentary toppings and salsas we wanted to add to our meals.
The food was absolutely delicious. I cleaned my plate 😋. The restaurant itself was very clean and inviting. My parents also greatly enjoyed their dishes as well. This place is truly a hidden gem and I can't wait to return for another delicious dish next time I visit the mall.
Keep up the...
Read moreCompared to other tacos I’ve had for $2 dollars each chicken and steak being $2.25 or chicken being $2.25 and steak being $2.50 I’d rate 5 stars for best taste and great pricing, and those prices are from two other locations I’ve been to. But here $3.25 for 1 is priced very high also being the fact that you got to add your own toppings and do extra on the side, which made me feel like I did half the work. Too many additional things on the side, It’s good but it’s not better than what I had for the price I displayed which tasted 3 times better, when I get 4 I spend including tax around $9 to $10 dollars but here I spend $16.43 for 4 and I can’t see myself coming back here. I’m sorry but I honestly would not recommend going here not unless your really hungry and it’s last minute and you do not mind the price. I should of gotten at least a free bottle soda with that. But being the first time coming their, yes they are nice and friendly but besides that...
Read moreToday I felt like eating Mexican food and I just happened to be passing by this restaurant on my way home. Me being an adventurous foodie, I figured why not give them a try. The customer service was excellent by the young lady behind the counter who appeared to be working alone not sure if she was the owner or not. I had the birria tacos with consume and rice. The server gave me a side of beans to try FREE also. The food was even better than the customer service. I've had birria from lots of popular restaurants in the area but this was hands down THE BEST! The onions and the meat were steaming hot and tasted fresh. The beans had pork fat trimmings which I don't see often but they were delicious. It's located off of Sand lake Rd so if you're ever in the area give them a try. I...
