Purchase of custom sized mattresses and box springs was a pleasure. Issues occurred with the delivery, despite my having stated twice that delivery had to occur after 9am, the delivery occurred at 8:42am. The only person on site was a contractor performing work and the delivery people insisted that he accept the delivery, he was quite reluctant to do so but informed me that they were "very pushy". They decided ( without consulting me, my wife or our housekeeper, all of whose phone #s were provided to them ) to leave two mattresses and two box springs in my garage leaving me and my wife ( both over 60 ) to lug these upstairs to the second...

As usual, after shopping everywhere else, we ended up at The Original Mattress Factory to buy the mattress we needed for the guestroom bunk bed. They had the lower profile mattress we needed--clean, well-made, considerably less expensive than the other mattress stores, and even in stock.

Since they let you see the factory behind the showroom, you know that you are getting a totally NEW mattress, not simply new upholstery and padding on a used set of springs. That's not the case at many other mattress stores.

Great mattress, great store experience & great experience with the delivery. In the store, Chris was more than helpful when explaining the different mattresses and was “all about the customer.” At one point, there were 3 different families in the store at one time, and he handled all of us with ease. While helping one family, he never forgot about the other two and made us all feel like we were the only ones in the store. The delivery people were on time, polite and went above and beyond.
