What a cute little hidden find! I dropped by on a recommendation from an employee at Callaway Gardens & so glad I did! We ordered takeout from this spot but I can easily see coming back again. We got BLTs & chocolate cake to go & a chicken pot pie to bake later. There's a smash burger on the menu which piqued my interest for another trip. Along with a nice variety of salads & sandwiches, there are some takeaway meals available you can heat up for later which is a great option for those who are staying nearby who don't want to cook or go out to eat later. I won't be mad at you if you skip over dessert simply because I'll just be sure to eat your portion lol. Yes, it is that good! We stopped in for a late lunch today after spending the day at Callaway Gardens, and it was our first visit, on our way home. We stopped because of all the great reviews, and as others have stated, we were not disappointed. The owners were very friendly, and the food was made-to-order, fresh and hot! We ate outside for such a beautiful Fall Day, and after the food was delivered one of the owners came out and spoke with us. I was very impressed that they prepare their chicken breast in a sous-vide, which ensures a moist and juicy chicken breast (and it was). I had the Dakita, and my wife had the Turkey Ruben. I just love Dakota’s! The Turkey Reuben and Fancy Francis Grilled Cheese are always at the top of my list, though I hear the Smash Burgers are a local obsession too. And don’t even get me started on the baked goods—they’re the real deal, homemade and amazing. The chocolate cake is gone in a flash, and those Oscar Cookies? So clever and fun. I’m already counting down to fall when the pumpkin cookies come back! Oh, and all the coffee syrups are made in-house, which makes every cup extra special.
