If you want to try an authentic Banh mi, try it here. If you are Vietnamese and homesick of Vietnam, come here. They have Banh Mi Bi, only a few restaurant have it on their menu. They are all delicious! They have many other things beside Banh Mi. All of them are excellent and off the menu as they sell as they make them. They can be gond at 10am, only 2 hours after they open so you should be here in the morning to try all of their options for a day! You have to try Cafe sua da (Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk), it is really a traditional flavor. They make it with Robusta, not Arabica coffee. They make it with a Vietnamese special coffee filter, not from a coffee machine. They also use a special tool to beat the foam, a very traditional and authentic way to make our coffee. It is not a fancy restaurant if you expect one, but it is a very friendly, family and welcoming restaurant that makes me feel like I am in Vietnam. They make food in-house and fresh every day. The price is extremely surprising that I keep asking if she...
Read moreThis has been my go to banh mi spot for over a year now! I could not ride harder for this place.
Upon entering you'll notice it's a 1 woman shop while she also keeps her kid in the back and entertained, very very impressive in my opinion. Despite this, she does not disappoint.
I get the banh mi dac biet every time, cut in half, with extra carrots and daikon, which she gladly adds at no extra charge. It is consistently the best dac biet banh mi I've had in pinellas county and of all the shops i've been to. Perfectly toasted bun and great flavor in every bite for only $4!!!
I do also enjoy the thit nuong banh mi, which is also very good for $5. I also recommend the Vietnamese coffee, good portions and great as always.
Absolutely love this place and recommend it to anyone searching for a banh mi in...
Read moreGreat resolution to a miscommunication error with an delicious sandwich. My order was not ready (it was time sensitive for pick up). There was a lot of miscommunication on it not being ready so she made the sandwich and didn't charge me as a courtesy. I was going to leave immediately before she made it but then stayed for it and was willing to pay but she didn't take my money and comped it for the trouble. The sandwich was very good and authentic and I appreciate the great customer service. I would have paid because I do understand business costs but she just smiled and gave me it and a bottle of water. From this, I would highly recommend this place for the banh mi sandwiches and in understanding her customers. Thank you...
