What a humiliating and insulting experience!
I purchased the daily meal deal through my app in good faith. When I went to go pick it up at the drive-thru they said they hadn't received the order. I thought that was odd because I placed the order several minutes beforehand finished up some shopping and went over to pick up my sandwich. I said I'd come into the store and we can sort it out in there.
When I went inside I checked the order and it looked like it was still sending in the app however the charge had gone through on my card and was clearly on the way to Subway. I showed the person behind the counter the receipt, I showed them the order screen with the order on it. The person on the counter was going to start making my sandwich when some confrontational woman came up and told me that they would make my order but I would have to pay for it again.
I showed her the receipt. I showed her the order. I showed her that it was being paid and she said that that was too bad and I would have to call my bank. I said the problem was not with my bank the problem was with their app. The money has come out of my account. It was not a pre-authorization, it was a charge. The woman ignored this and refused to help me and insisted I would have to pay for the sandwich again and call my bank to sort out the problem.
I told her this was unacceptable because the food had already been paid for! She then said that she would call the police and have me escorted from the property if I was going to be confrontational. She did not acknowledge the receipt, she did not acknowledge the payment, and she would not accept any responsibility for the issue.
Defeated, I took my bag of chips and water that I had paid for and left without my sandwich. They followed me out of the store taking pictures of me and my vehicle as I left.
Amazing how a place like this can make you feel like a criminal when they are the ones who stole my money.

Read moreMrs. and I showed up here probably about an hour before close on a Sunday night. The place smelt awesome (think warm crispy bread) and the gentleman at the counter was friendly and welcoming. Although we did wait (for what didn't feel like long at all!) the same gentleman apologized for the inconvenience, genuinely.
We hadn't been to a subway in a while and admittedly were a little confused by the new menu. However, our new friend (the gentleman form the previous paragraph) was able to walk us through everything quite pleasantly. He was very knowledgeable about what he had to offer and was very personable about it!
Although we didn't sit down for a five star meal at a fancy restaurant, we left with two delicious foot longs, some incredible oatmeal raisin cookies, a super tasty vitamin water and definitely a five-star memory. In fact, I would feel comfortable saying this is probably the best service we've gotten probably in a couple of years!
