Last night was my first time here with family not having any real expectations. I was impressed by the menu selection. Excitingly, we started off with the chicken lollipops and progressed to chicken biryani and the chicken tikka masala with the cream cheese naan and rice. The chicken tikka masala was the best I have ever had in a long time. It wasn’t that runny cheap mass batch production soupy style some other Indian restaurants do but this one dish made my heart drop. It tasted like It was made with great love and care just like you would have at some traditional Indian family home. The gravy was surprisingly thick and rich which held really well with the naan, which was perfectly soft. My mom is picky and fussy and she enjoyed the biryani without a single complaint along with my dad, and really enjoyed a sample of my dish with the roti which she ate with pleasure. The timing between the appetizer and the main courses were perfectly timed which was heart warming. We ended with the carrot halva and rasmalai for dessert and both of those were simply amazing. My only complaint would have been we didn’t get more. The authenticity and taste of our dishes were simply exquisite. The customer service was pleasurable and made me humble the way they attended and checked on us making sure everything was to our liking. It was the first time in a long time I was in a restaurant and felt nostalgic with the food as if I was eating in India. The service was spectacular along with their dishes making it feel they brought a piece of India with them here. I was indeed grateful for this experience and can’t wait to try their other dishes especially their...
Read moreFlavor! Flavor! Flavor. Indian spice balance at its best. Gobi Manchurian - Crispy thin cornstarch layer on cauliflower was a highlight. Sauce not runny and not thick. Flavor base of sweet and tangy - That’s what makes it authentic different from veg manchurian. Spices are pungent and gives tingling sensation to your tongue. Punjabi Kadhi - Sour tangy curd was rightfully tangy with tadka bringing the taste balance with gentle spice. Pakoras little small but fried with no raw interior. Only complaint too less pakoras. Portion size was adequate. Malai Kofta - Little bit spicy especially for kids. Also green chili spice kick will be tough for kids to manage. Kofta soft and creamy. Gravy was not tomato based which gave it a very different taste than others.
Quality of food definitely gives a premium feeling.
Things we did not like - Previous day veg biryani was not available and was conveyed 10 mins before pickup time. During dine in on Sunday morning paneer was not available. Very tough for vegetarians to have options with so many dishes not available. Also the waitress could have made the dining experience more merry by having a smile on her face. Very low energy and gave us a feeling that we were not welcomed. Also table size is small and needs lot of juggling skills to have all the dishes on it.
We had decided not to come back after the low energy and out of stock items but the flavor and chef’s taste has changed our mind. We will return to try rajma, paratha and misal pav
A big salute to the Chef. You are...
Read moreVisited this Indian restaurant and had a mixed experience. The food was just okay—not bad, but nothing particularly stood out in terms of flavor or presentation. What really impacted the visit was the slow service. We had to wait quite a long time for our food, which was frustrating, especially since the restaurant wasn’t overly busy at the time. the drinks were a pleasant surprise—very well made and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our visit was Reymond, who was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our meal. He made a real effort to ensure we were taken care of, even with the delays, and his service made a big difference in our overall experience.
With some improvements in kitchen speed and consistency in food quality, this place has the potential to be a great spot. For now, it’s just average, but the excellent drinks and Reymond’s hospitality were definite positives.
What made it worse was the attitude of the manager, not welcoming she ignored us and came across as rude and unprofessional.Menu was not provided , plates were not at the table, no water , ITS LOOKS THEY WANTS TO WORK WITHOUT STAFF. It felt which was very frustrating and left a negative impression. Restaurant is new but not ORGANISED, Only few staffs are running like a crazy. Management needs to do lots of...
