I hate that I have to give 1 star because they don’t deserve it, zero stars should be a option. Me and my family in total 6 adults and 3 kids came here for dinner. Service was terrible starting from the time we ordered our drinks and appetizers, it took 20 minutes for guacamole to be prepared (and it was so salty it was inedible) and our drinks were brought out separately me and my mother in law got our margaritas (the only good thing I consumed) and the rest of the table did not get there’s until about 10 minutes later. We sat for almost a 45 minutes before the food came out, and when it did half of our orders where wrong my husband was already upset and no longer wanted his food. My brother in law's food was sent back to be corrected and was never returned, so they never actually ate. The food did not look good at all. I had the vegetarian burrito and the veggies where cut so largely they where still raw inside, and they poured so much of this cheese sauce on top the tortilla because very soggy. No one finished their meal we asked to speak with the manager not only for the food and slowness but because our waiter did not check on us did not apologize once for us waiting or orders being incorrect. Let me start by saying the food here is delicious and always hits the spot. That's where the positivity ends unfortunately.

I've literally been coming to this restaurant (regardless of ownership) for almost 40 years. Back when hwy 51 was 2 lanes, prior to the building of the giant pink calvary church, etc...

Our trips to Monterrey have been becoming fewer and fewer lately and today probably ended my loyalty.

Prices have gone up, service quality has declined considerably and they are now nickel and diming you for drinks, queso and even refills. 4 as a limit isn't unreasonable however look that the attached photos and the amount of ice in each cup. Give me an appropriate amount of ice and 4 refills will be more than enough. This amount for $3/drink and double that for another is absurd.

I want to reiterate that the food is always excellent. But we will not be dining in for a very long time. Maybe we will get our food to go but then again we might as well eat closer to home or even save money at home.

There are other reasons for the 1 star review ( cleanliness of our table, service, rudeness of staff, the disgusting bathrooms, to name a few) but the iceberg amount of ice and the lack of free refills is what I'm diving into.

Poor ownership and management is to blame.

Not sure we'll be back. Esp for 1 dish and 3 apps and drinks being a $60+ meal...

I didn’t like my food . Informed the waitress Alexa i didn’t like it either . Tried the nachos didn’t even bother to eat the quesadilla my ingredients were literally falling out of the tortilla . After informing Alexa i didn’t like it she said well will you be paying for the quesadilla i told her no i didn’t even try it . She said why didn’t i ? Then i told her it didn’t look appetizing the ingredients were partially inside the quesadilla the rest on the outside . But i will purchase another alcohol beverage and a dessert then leave the Rest for your tip to make up the cost . A few seconds later a manger ( antonio ) comes to my table and asks me why don’t you like it everybody likes nachos . I said because i didn’t like them . Then he proceeds to ask me why did i order them? Bc i thought i would like them i answer . Then he said what makes you would like the dessert then ? At this point I’m like I’ll never come here again or recommend this place to anyone i know. . But on a positive note all in all the drinks were great ! So was the waitress Alexa .
