TAVERN 51 — Restaurant in Pineville

Well I came in today for the first time very excited cause I heard Good things about the Bar so went in the Girl at Bar greeted me Friendly I decided on the Crab legs potato Corn Shrimp, a Friend was with me and and she got the Quesdesalla so we left the Bar in the car the Bag the crabs were in SMELLED BAD!!!! So when I got back to the office took first Bite of the corn it tasted sweet at first but then I kept eating it and when it hit my stomach I started to get sick to the stomach, my stomach turning I was like Whoo Jesus I told my coworker I can’t eat anymore of this let me call them so the Girl that was at the Bar over the phone had me go thru the Whole story over the phone before she put the Manager on the phone and I said Dang why you just didn’t put him on the phone from the Beginning so I explained to him about the Food he said he could not give me a refund and that it ways to much money to Give back but you can charge me that amount ($25 Dollars) for me it’s not about the money it’s the Principle so he argue with me Back and Forth and Forth not letting me get a word in at all so he said he would make me something else but what I got did not equal up to the amount!!! I told him this was my First coming here and I will never come back again I believe in Good customer service and respect and and when it comes to my Hard earned money......I was not treated Right in this situation but I will never be...

I came there twice in the same day the firstime same people I ordered food & a margarita w/ patron the bartended said it would be a upcharge for patron I said okay she charged me $11 plus my food (she recommended that we only order Chinese and I didn't listen because I ordered a cheese steak and it was sent cooked so I should of listened) so later I came in there with 2 friends before I came in she was outside smoking and I asked her to make me the same drink & she said "that drink I gave you is is going to cost more than 11$ this time ?? So I just said ok because I didnt mind too much more because we wanted to play pool so this time I gave her 14$ for just the drink and all my friends ordered over a 2 hour span was 2 beers each and I ordered 2 margaritas the blonde bartender that work tues& Sunday s ended up with a 9$ tip off me and 3$ off one of my friends ... So only on of my friends didn't tip off a 2 carona purchase and she said she was not going to serve us no more because she wasn't getting enough tips and her job was sent paying her enough so unless we tip she was sent serving.... Made tavern 51 look really bad for a 1st time customer that would spend $$ with them I would go across town or wait for them to change their staff to visit 10/30/18 worst...

I can safely say that I have never had food that was as good as they make there. One night I ordered the same dish twice to eat there and to take home...that's how good it is. It can be very easy to spend $100 in one sitdown because you can lose yourself there. If you are a single guy there are a lot of beautiful women there but after three attempts to find "Mrs. Right"there, I was let down. I deleted every number given to me...I can appreciate that everyone knows each other there but I feel like an outsider. With that being said, the food, the drinks along with the convenience of living down the road are great reasons to go there. It is one of the best places I've been to without question and that is no exaggeration. The food alone puts other places to shame, that much is clear. I've been to only a very few places where the food alone will compell you to go back again and again. This place is definitely one of them. Socially however, I'm having an extremely hard time fitting in and trying to find that special someone has proved to be very hard. Anyway, you'll instantly fall in love...
