I just have to say that the manager named Ali or Olli (sorry don’t know how he spells it) was absolutely wonderful and made solving my issue so easy to deal with and he was so pleasant. I made an order through Door Dash and made the mistake of ordering the 12 piece mixed chicken when I really wanted the 12 piece tenders. I couldn’t cancel the order bc then Door Dash would only just refund me $10 when the total was $57-$60. So I hurried up and called the location (Stelton Rd, Piscataway/South Plainfield) and the manager picked up right away. I explained what I had done by accident and after asking my name, he calmly said, “No worries, I will take care of that for you no problem.” He also proceeded to ask what sauce I wanted since the 12 piece comes with 4 dipping sauces. I was so nervous and so upset and worried that I wouldn’t have been able to change it or that it wouldn’t be easy to deal with BUT the manager put me right at ease and reassured me that all is fine. I know it may not be a big deal to some people but to me, he did away with all my worries and solved my problem in the most professional way, and for that I am grateful and very much appreciative. Read moreI absolutely love the crispy chicken sandwich at Popeyes (IMO it beats all the other fast food chain ones). I'd rate Popeyes overall 4.5 out of 5. However this location, I rate 3 out of 5. I'm okay with the wait times and patiently wait because the food is worth it.. however on more than 1 occasion, they don't have any sauces available (ketchup, honey mustard, you name it). I would believe as a fast food place, you'd have this readily available. The last time I was there, they didn't have sauces or dark sodas available, which is very strange to me. And another time, I placed an order on their app because of a promo they had going on, the app was glitchy and ended up not giving me a chicken sandwich for free, although I exceeded their order minimum to qualify for the promo, on the app. When I asked me the manager for the free sandwich, he fought me through and through for a $3 sandwich. I had spent more than $17 like the app requested and he wouldn't honor a free sandwich although he understood the promo. It was awful - I know restaurants allot and budget for these types of mishaps and it wasn't until I mentioned that and that I would complain to corporate that he gave me the sandwich. We place our order and drove to the window where we sat for Id say 3-5mins I notice a young man walk by. I hit the horn and explained no one had greeted us. Without allowing me to finish the young “whom l later found out named Ryan” yelled you have to go back around and place your order. I them expressed my order was already placed he look and the screen and agree he stated someone would be right with us. We waited yet another 5mins as he walk past again I said excuse me sir no one has came to take payment or even address us yet he stated in a harsh tone your food isn’t ready I said may I speak with a manger he replied I am the manager. I said to him this isn’t good customer service as a young lady walked over with our order we paid and drove of I went to check my food and it was cold as ice.
