Gino's Pizza — Restaurant in Pismo Beach

Conveniently located near HWY 101 off 4th St. in the 'Pismo Coast Shopping Plaza' by 'California Fresh Market' with plenty of parking. We ordered their Large 'Gino's Special' which is topped with 'Pepperoni, Sausage, Canadian Bacon, Salami, Bell Peppers, Olives, Onions, and Mushrooms'. The pie was sooooo yummy! They are super generous with the toppings, overflowing and everything was very fresh. I liked that the sauce did not overpower the pizza. The crust was thick and had a perfect toast to it. We also had their 'Fettuccine Pesto Pasta with Chicken'. It comes with a side of bread. This was beyond delicious, definitely the best Pesto Pasta I've ever had! There are plenty of tables and a TV playing live sports. There's also a couple of tables outside. Service was great. Welcoming and friendly cashier, he was helpful with the menu. HUGE SHOUTOUT TO BRANDY! My sister & I visited Pismo during the week of the surf competition, celebrating my 30th birthday. We had a seriousss dinner craving for spaghetti & meatballs, salad & garlic bread. We give it a goog & see there are a handful of options, we tried calling a couple of places before this one (just out of proximity), but all seemed to be closing up early. By the time I called Gino’s, it must of been 10-15 minutes left before closing.. it was a long shot but we took our chances and Brandy saved the day!!! Food was already being put away and cleaned up, but they still offered to serve us and Brandy was incredibly kind all the way through the experience. Nice people and atmosphere. The pizza was good, but for the price, I expected it to be better or at least have a larger variety of veggies on it. It reminded me of a combo pizza you’d get at dominos but obviously way better, just loaded with more veggies and fresh ingredients. (We ordered a veggie pizza with pepperoni) but that’s on us for not asking what was on it, or we may have added some extra veggies! A lot of green peppers, and an ok amount of pepperoni and cheese. I give it a 5 star because the flavors were all there, the veggies that did come on it were cooked nicely, and there was a good amount of everything on the pizza.
