Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Pismo Beach

Well, I read some of the reviews before I ordered. My bad for not saying add more sauce after reading them. I wanted to give them a try because we love pizza and a lot of places around here don't make good pizza. Definitely need more sauce and more cheese, but that's a personal preference. First of all, it was a fiasco trying to order it. Avoiding the delivery apps & thinking of the restaurant and ordering from them. I waited 20 minutes on the phone to put my order in.. not only that, the other end, the person on the phone kept repeating every single thing I said. Not that I mind that but while I'm still responding... like the credit card. First 4 numbers he's reading them back to me which I guess is good & thorough. It was very annoying, but also the background noise was so loud. Probably why he kept repeating everything. Now to get to the food... Took a little over an hour, probably an hour and twenty minutes to get it. And it's cold. It tastes like cardboard. The dough is very chewy. not my thing when it comes to garlic cheesy bread, which should have been just cheesy bread. still not enough cheesy in my opinion, but it definitely didn't have garlic on it. And then the pizza and choros we got were cold. Everything was not ice cold, but you could tell it had been sitting there for a while. No, I won't be ordering them again. And it cost $44 for the pizza and chorros. The cheesy bread was a free promotion they were doing. I don't normally do reviews but this one is just needed...

I wanted to like this place. Our pizza was fine, heavy on the sauce but nothing special. The seating in the dining room was ok, the window behind us seemed to have a bullet hole in it? I should have taken a picture but honestly I couldn’t even be hung to guess what else could have made a hole that shape. The drink station was a sticky mess, we had to find somebody to refill the lids . They checked inter the soda fountain and there was just a busser’s tub sitting inside for a trash can overflowing next to their back stocked drink station items (aka your straws and lids are right next to garbage). There was a random leak in the roof with a trash can catching the water in the middle of the restaurant. The staff was just generally unfriendly. The person working the register seemed totally disinterested in me ordering from her and took my receipt and just tossed it without asking if I wanted it. When we were leaving ( a pretty crowded dining room) we asked an employee in a red apron if we were supposed to bus our own table or if someone takes care of that, he shrugged and said he “didn’t know”. We really went for the arcade games so my expectations weren’t too high after reading other reviews but even the games were ok. First of all I want to tell you that your product is really good and I go to the Pizzeria in different ways, one as a normal customer and the other to pick up orders, in both cases the wait is always long but understandable to a certain extent. in their recently opened Pismo Beach branch, the staff is very young and seems to lack training, last Sunday February 11th I went to pick up an order and when I arrived they told me that it would be ready in 15 minutes, thirty minutes passed and nothing came back I asked a question and they told me that a few more minutes and nothing, I asked who the manager was and I asked him just a few words aside, he was upset, raised his voice at me and told me that people who come like me to pick up orders for deliveries have to wait and left me unable to add anything else, the girl at the counter joined Him and when I thanked her she didn't even turn to see me. Yesterday I had to go again and when the same girl saw me, she made an annoyed face. I asked her if she could give me plates and she threw them at me on the pizza box. She turned around and didn't say anything else. We are all potential customers and I would not like to stop buying pizzas for my family there, just because of young people who care least about customer...
