Love Papi's. Never disappoints. The favorite in our house is the 3 butter beef tacos for $7.50. The tortilla seems homemade, with a regular sized yellow corn tortilla. The beef is melt in your mouth yummy,, topped with tiny red onions and some cilantro. Today, we tried a shrimp taco and it was good. The shrimp wasn't real seasoned but it came with a nice creamy sauce and black beans. We added some of their awesome salsa and it was tasty. The parking is easy. Not a ton of places but there is plenty of very close street parking. If you are handicapped, I feel you should be able to gain access just fine from the street and parking lot. However, you'll need to open the door, it's manual. There is a small patio with heaters and a small inside area to eat. You can call ahead for your food, which a lot of people do. Everyone I've taken there, LOVES the food and friendly service. A local institution since 2015. Highly recommend you...
Read moreLocal family owned restaurant with extremely friendly kind staff. I really want to like this place and have been on multiple occasions trying a variety of dishes. Unfortunately all items are bland and dry. I hope they read this review and enact change to add some authenticity and flavor to their dishes. Even making limes and hot sauces more readily available would significantly improve the dine-in experience. When requesting hot sauce to improve our dry/bland dishes, we were kindly given 0.5oz plastic containers of sauce. After awkwardly returning to the order stand multiple times to request more, we decided to pack up our meal and head home. The leftovers tasted excellent with additional spice and flavor from our home kitchen. I really hope Papi’s can integrate this constructive criticism because the potential is there and we are...
Read moreWhat a great find this place is! We each ordered the chicken tacos with bell peppers, a quesadilla to share, and the bowl of beans. Every item was so fresh, hot, flavorful! I would call this comfort food. I’ve never had such a thick, cheesy quesadilla on corn tortillas, and it came with yummy guacamole. (Their corn tortillas are exceptionally good too.) The pinto beans with bacon just melted in my mouth. If you’re a bean lover, these are over the top delicious. Both their green and red sauces were tasty with a little spice but not hot. Nothing was greasy—I felt like this was a healthy version of Mexican food. We did takeout but they do have a small outdoor patio area that was almost full with other happy customers munching away when we got there—always a good sign. We’re going to have to come back to...
