La Cantina by Madero — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

I used to work here when it was Mad Mex. I hate to say that it looks a little bland from what it used to be but I still like the decor. The one bartender needs some serious lessons in service. I said Hi to him and he didn't respond and basically threw the menu at me. Then he disappeared for more than 10 minutes. The young lady there behind the bar was very cool and attentive and when I had a question about the menu she made a point to find out the answer if she didn't know. I think her name was Cal. Stopped in on a Tuesday at 9pm at the old Oakland Mad Mex location on Atwood. Couple tables were there, nothing crazy. I ordered the fish tacos, cilantro lime rice and black beans. Love this new spot in Oakland! The inside has such a good vibe to it and the staff are super friendly and it's overall just very inviting.
