McDonald's — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

I just sat for an hour in the drive thru. First the lady that took my order over the speaker was very disrespectful. After ordering 3 meals she said “is that it” very rudely. Then when I added more she said “oh my god.” She kept sighing over the speaker as well. At the end I asked for 3 large cokes and i said that would be all she then put one on the order and I corrected her and said that was supposed to be 3 and she very rudely said “ well you should’ve said that” i said i did say that I asked for 3 large cokes. I yes did have a big order but my family had just gotten home from a long day so my fiance decided to go get something for us all to eat since we hadn’t eaten much. The lady over the speaker also kept calling over the manager named Carol to fix the order multiple times. Even then she couldn’t even change it correctly. It was 2 double cheeseburgers and a basket of fries one of the deals they have going on and they kept putting each burger and the fry separately which obviously costs more. When we were getting our food they first forgot a basket of fries. Then i noticed they forgot a 10 piece nugget as well. I never got my receipt so I don’t even know if everything was rung up correctly which I don’t think it was. My family orders the same thing each time and our order is always around $28 this was $36. At the end of the day I was a manager at a fast food and they just clearly didn’t I know what they were doing or weren’t trained properly. Even the manager Carol didn't even know what she was doing. Very disrespectful to their customers as well. Also I would like to add that the manager Carol was clearly not wearing a bra and you could see her nipples poking out. I’m sorry but that is just very unprofessional I understand not wearing a bra as I sometimes do not but at work that is a completely inappropriate place to...

I went there tonight drive thru, waited 15 mins in line before getting to speaker. The person greeted me after a moment or two and as I started to order said "hold on" so I did. About 15 minutes goes by and she comes back and asks what she can get me I start all the sudden a different voice say can I take your order I start again "hold on" another 3-5 minutes pass and he says the computers are frozen. That's it. So I said ok, sooooooo are you closed or what because I've been at this speaker for 20 mins and you could have told me that, his response F@&k you a$$hole. I am a former GM at McDonald's so I know things happen and would have completely understood. But the swearing at me for absolutely nothing was just unacceptable especially by the manager. If I was his boss I would have sent him home on the spot and possibly terminated his employment if he had other write ups similar which I wouldn't doubt one bit considering I didn't provoke his childish unprofessional outburst. He is lucky however I'm not some crazy person who would have went in there and taught him like his father should have, some manners. I honestly couldn't believe it. On a brighter note I went next door to Wendy's, they were friendly fast and the food was prepared fresh and accurately. Don't waste your time with this particular McDonald's since they take it out on the customers when equipment breaks and they aren't smart/savvy enough to fix it, or at the very least apologize and TELL THE CUSTOMERS WHAT IS HAPPENING. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We arrived at the Drive Thru at 1:20am with ONE CAR ahead of us. After 26 minutes (and counting) have STILL not been up to the order screen. Only at 1:47am, the car ahead of us ordered. We pulled up to the order screen at 1:48am, and our order was finally taken at 1:56. We ordered two 10 piece nuggets and two medium chocolate milkshakes without whipped cream. It’s 2am exactly now and we’re still sitting at the window, with one car ahead of us, all waiting. If I had known it was going to take 40 minutes I would’ve driven to the McKnigh road location and been home 25 minutes ago. And they refused to accept a police badge for a discount like we always receive at every McDonalds.

Milkshakes we were given were small child cups yet charged for Medium. The excuse we were given for the long wait was that “someone ahead of us had just ordered an 80 piece nugget and another 30 piece”. ....(meanwhile they’re total was $24 and I highly doubt that 110 nuggets would be that cheap.)

2:05am: still waiting for the two 10 piece nuggets. I didn’t realize McDonald’s sourced chickens from local farms, butchers them in-house, defeathers them and then breads and fries them. Kudos.

We gave back the small shakes in return for the correct medium ones. And they tried to let us by without giving a receipt. Definitely asked for one so we can call and let someone who might actually give a rats ass a piece of our minds. Way to...
