My wife, one of my best friends and I were completely ignored and asked to wait outside the door yet there was no line. As we waited the bouncer(who didn’t bother to even check or IDs as if he knew he was not letting us in) allowed two younger college kids to walk behind him and enter in the bar. When my wife asked ‘why were those two let in?’ He replied ‘they don’t count’. I’ve gone to Sloppy Joes ever since I lived in Mt. Washington and loved that bar. I know that they fired their best bartender recently and truly hope my being African American(as the bartender was a larger white male I have not seen before) did not affect the reason why I was not let in with mg wife and friend.
