Updating my review. Keeping the 5 stars. Recently took coworkers out for Friday lunch. Stinky's is definitely in the rotation now. All if the food was excellent(oh, Friday lunch is serious. If you pick a bad choice. Shame for a whole week.)

Food quality was actually surprising good. I feel like I could go there for 6 months and order a completely different meal and not eat the same thing. Huge menu. That usually leads to something not being up to par. No. We all ordered different and everything was good.

Service was spot on again. Even when I went to the bathroom, I didn't notice much of a smoke smell walking through the bar. If you're into comfort food, definately this is a good option. (Sorry. Fat kid here. Have no idea how the salads are. One appetizer for a table of 4 is more than enough, we don't regret ordering 2 though.)

6 years ago original post: I'm specifically writing this review to counter a review I had read that almost hindered me from experiencing Stinky's. I had organized 2 volunteer days with my employer and Habitat for Humanity. We were providing lunch for 7 people today and 8 people tomorrow. Pizza delivery is usually an ideal choice. I looked for places within walking distance with seating and found Stinky's.

We are a professional organization so the review saying how smokey and overpriced the restaurant was had me leery. I also needed a place that would work out both on my budget and time restraints. Stinky's was the only place close so I called. I spoke with a very pleasant person on the phone. I did not catch her name. She said she would have a table ready for us at noon.

I phoned the restaurant at 11:30 to place our order for noon. We arrived slightly late at 12:10 to our table already prepared and waiting for us. As we cleaned up, they brought out the order, which was still hot and fresh, and we began to eat. The pizza was very good. Everyone at the table really enjoyed the White Pizza. There was no hint of smoke during our visit and the entire restaurant had an air of something much nicer than just a bar and grill.

The check was brought promptly and they met our time constraints perfectly. I informed our waitress I would be back tomorrow with a different group. She took our order gladly and said everything would be ready for me again tomorrow.

I can't comment on anything other than the pizza as I did not have it. The pizza was good and affordable. It would have cost me more to have pizza delivered then eat it out in the cold. + there. The restaurant was very clean and had nice decor ++ there. The truly amazing thing to me was the customer service. I had a need, they met that need quickly and efficiently. ++++ There.

I'll go back. Well, I will be...

Walking in felt like something out of a western. I mean I get it. It looks like a local place, so everyone there was probably a regular. That does not mean me (and my boyfriend) need it to fall silent and have people stare at us as soon as we walk in. We didn't know where to sit, no one said, "have a seat we will be right with you." Or anything along those lines, so that didnt add to the atmosphere either. Two different waitresses waited on us, and would ask us the same question right after each other. For example, waitress #2 asked if we were ready to order after we had already placed it with waitress #1. The food was sub par and not worth the 80 bucks we spent (appetizer, 2 sandwiches meals, and a drink for both me and my partner). Not to mention, my partner wanted honey mustard for his fries and we spent a good 2 minutes making sure the waitress knew what honey mustard was. "Spicy or regular" she asked twice, which normally isn't an option for honey mustard. Not knowing what else to say, I said regular. She brought back yellow mustard 🤦‍♀️. Now, I'd forgive some of the things we experienced here if it was a busy night. However, including me and my boyfriend, there were 7 people there, and we were the only ones that weren't at the bar. I guess that should have been a red flag. I'm sorry Stinky's for ripping into you on Google, but this experience lived up...

New review; only for wing night.

Who goes to Stinky's for wings? Are they always this pathetic? Went to Wednesday Jumbo Wing night at Stinky’s tonight.

As so many of you know, Stinky’s is known for reasonably-priced fantastic sammies; FatHeads is the one that comes to mind that would be better, but they are at the other side of town.

Wing night tonight, and in the picture is what I got.

This picture makes them look bigger than they were. The blue cheese container is smaller than what I get elsewhere.

These are the smallest wings I can remember having. You see they gave me an extra one of the most pathetic ones, on the right; really, should have been double.

It’s a shame, because the hot sauce and hot garlic parm sauces were really good.

When the server asked how the wings were, I told her they were tiny. She said she knew, and they weren’t usually that small.

BUT, if you knew, why didn’t you tell me before I ordered?

AND, why wasn’t some compensation? Extra wings? Free drink?

From 7y ago: New fave bar. Bad things happen here.

Hot DJ spinnin' hot rhythms. Drinks. Good, good food.

The VN vet w/ whom I was talking, his wife wouldn't leave w/ him. I had to carry her out. She...

Had loads of wings and fries and a burger. All of it was great, even the chips! Always had good, generous meals at Stinky's. I wouldn't say it is expensive, but i did notice that food costs here were a tad on the higher side these days. Not out of control, though. Bartenders were attentive and informative (I didn't know a lot about all the kinds of beers available there). The big game was on, but it wasn't too crowded to be able to enjoy conversations with friends and a place to put your meal. Parking can be tight, and it really is in the heart of a residential area, so watch your volume after leaving (I know some of us somehow get louder after a pint). Lots of tables placed in different sections of the restaurant made it feel like you could move around and weren't crammed in. Really, the only negative thing I can say is to the taller gents-watch your head coming out of the men's room. Wish they would put a pad on the wall there. Ouch!

Stopped on Sunday for lunch with my friend. We tried the wings and we both got the Reuben. She got their fresh made chips with ranch dressing and I subbed for the onion rings. This sandwich was soooooo good. The bread was perfectly toasted. The corned beef was thin and piled on. The onion rings were perfectly crunchy. Those chips though!! I highly recommend them, and their ranch was bomb too. You have to appreciate a good ranch dressing, none of that packet stuff! Also took home the all American burger and another Reuben for the rest of the family!
