Rude, unprofessional, serving staff member. My husband and I had arrived at the breakfast buffet at a very busy time of the morning. It was a Saturday and it was very crowded. We were seated quickly but when we went to the buffet there were no plates available. It took several minutes to locate a server. Finally someone arrived to replenish the pastries and I stopped to tell her we needed more plates. Her reply was very curt and rude! She stated that she could see that and snapped, “just give me a second”. First the buffet is a little pricey and I certainly did not appreciate her attitude considering we were about to spend $50 for breakfast. It was obvious they were understaffed and not handling the crowd well but a guest staying should not have to be subjected to such rude behavior no matter the situation. We did speak to the manager and he offered to compensate us or provide room service. However, we had no interest in eating there after the incident. Me and wife ate at Joe's Crab Shack, Station Square, Pittsburg Pa. The food was good, but I would have to say the service was not. It is the responsibility of the server to know what comes with the meal you have ordered. My wife noticed that we did not get garlic bread, like the menu stated. When she brought it up to the server, he acted like the cat that ate the canary, started stuttering. We were done with our meal when the bread arrived. Then my wife stated, that's only one roll of garlic bread, the server stated, it was for us both. Now we have all gone to places where the service was excellent.
