Absolutely fantastic! What a wonderful, unique experience! My husband and I were having an old friend over for dinner last night and weren't quite sure what to have. He simply told the owners of Brooklyn's Best the situation, and they planned out a full meal (garlic bread, salad, side dish, main course, and dessert) for us! I was shocked to hear how reasonable the price was, and the food was, as expected, out-of-this-world delicious. I've never had anything like it. You can tell how much passion they put into the food at this restaurant. When I went to pick the food up, they were eager to tell me about the food and some details on where it had come from. Everything was made from scratch, down to the owners picking the strawberries for the dessert themselves. I knew I was bringing home a meal made with the same love and attention that I would've gotten from my own Italian grandmother's kitchen. All the food was done perfectly, and, despite my own lack of skill in the kitchen, I still got to impress our guest...
Read moreI had just moved to Pittsfield with my partner and we were moving into our apartment that night. Come 1230 AM we are both hungry and exhausted after moving everything in.
Brooklyns best seems to be one of the few places open after midnight for food. It was pricey but it was the only thing available. We ordered online from there website and went there and pick it up. And older guy who seems to be the only one working that late at night brings it out to us.
We got a meatlovers pizza and a container of wings. While yes they are pricey, they were amazing! I could taste so many things on the pizza I wouldn't at a domino's and I could tell the ingredients were fresh. The wings were just as good.
The only criticism I have is the prices, but, not knowing their costs of business, the taste and convenience of being open so late make up for it.
All on all, I would recommend. Probably not an "after drinks" pizza though because you might not appreciate...
Read moreWe were inside Crawford Square. The incredible smell from Brooklyn’s Best was beckoning us to place a to-go order. It had been a while since we ordered. Too long. We decided to split an order of chicken parm. It was enormous! One order fed both of us. It was absolutely delicious. Again. As always. The chicken was thick and moist and only lightly breaded so it wasn’t too heavy. The sauce was delicious and the pasta seemed very fresh. You know how sometimes it’s overcooked & mushy or hard? Not here. This was excellent. Even the little slice of crunchy garlic bread was perfect. I’ve heard “$30 for take out?” Try $15 a piece because we split it. You will NOT find a meal this delicious, take-out or sit down for this price. No, I’m not a paid reviewer, just a very satisfied customer who’s kicking himself for not ordering more often. Thank you Frank. We look forward to next time. It won’t be as long,...
