Don’t waste your time going until they figure things out because I encountered a waste of my time and not a pleasant experience. Sunday around 5pm walked in and of course there is a line about 15 people deep which is to be expected right? I’m ok with that considering Chipotle is a popular fast food chain. I get to the counter and got the bowl which I usually get when I’ve had chipotle in other areas. Received a small amount of rice, good amount of chicken and beans (great) gets handed over to the next worker and I ask for the tomato’s, which I got then she proceeded to start closing my bowl without asking if i want anything else lol and I was like wait I would like some guac(no guac she says) ok so she proceeds to close it again and I was like umm I would like some lettuce (she’s puts a pinch of lettuce on it) and proceeds to close my bowl again as I’m trying to tell her I wanted cheese so she puts a pinch of cheese on it and I was like can I get some queso? No special sauce! So no guac, no queso, and stingy amount of toppings for $10? Mind you no one knew they were out of these items which kinda makes the full experience. Near the beverages was a mess and out of utensils and straw papers thrown everywhere. Super disappointed to say the least but I will try this again but not for another month or more. Please please get it together cause Pittsfield needs this and could...
Read moreI’ve given this place 5 chances. I’ve had 2 bad chipotle experiences in my life over the last 15 years before this store opened. Every experience at this one has been bad.
They are always out of steak, fajitas, corn, sour cream, lettuce and other basic ingredients. The guacamole is always brown/rotten. The rice is always old. I assume the manager doesn’t order what they need until a day after it’s out. Doesn’t matter what time of day you go. Whether it’s 20 minutes after they open or 3 hours before they close. “sorry sir we are out of that”.
I learned from an employee that the ingredients are dedicated to the kitchen in the back for mobile orders. So, they do have the ingredients but they aren’t allowed to give them to walk-in customers. What an insane policy.
My 5th time there, i placed a mobile order so i could actually get what i want for once and when i picked it up, a majority of the ingredients i ordered were missing. I was still charged extra for them, though.
The employees all seem stressed and i understand why. they have to deal with disappointed people all day. it seems like this store opened and the corporate chain immediately forgot about it. Id rather go back to driving over an hour to a chipotle. This one is a joke and...
Read moreActually very disappointed. Well, Chipotle grill is pretty much cookie cutter. Wherever you go I found this particular store to be incredibly substandard. The method of ordering was the same as everywhere, but the presentation. Service was just not right. We both got bowls. They were thrown together with little concern for How it was put together. Our visit was about three thirty on a sunday, but you would not expect the condition of the restaurant to have been as it was. All of the portions had been used to the ends. The service bar was filthy caked with product. That had obviously been there for some time. There were at least 3 people that I saw on staff. And yet the cleanliness of the restaurant was very bad. While we were waiting for our food basically it was a giant social event. I can only assume that other employees or friends of the employees came in, and it was a big party. Fortunately, we have experienced other Chipotle. Grill locations that were great had this been our first exposure to Chipotle Grill, I can assure you we would not return. While we have enjoyed this restaurant chain in the past in various states where we experience them. Having settled here pittsfield, we won't go out of our way to return to this...
