Took an hour drive on a day off from my own restaurant to take a day trip through the Berkshire's. Out of all of the food options, this place stuck out to me on a long list on a local food page. I went in already knowing I was going to get a Reuben as it’s been my go to sandwich since as long as I can remember. I was 1000% not disappointed! The corned beef was moist and sliced at the perfect thickness, the kraut was delicious and the Swiss was melted to perfection! The marbled rye was also great quality. The parking was not bad at all, the machines only take change or card so be prepared for that. First half hour is free (plenty of time to eat) but if you want to be safe, they had no problem exchanging a bill for quarters. I was pretty set on grabbing a polish sausage sandwich to go but decided it will be my reason for another day off! As a local small business I can’t stress how important reviews are, and I wasn’t going to leave this establishment hanging! The ladies working the counter were a pleasure, and the place was spotless. I couldn’t ask for anything better in Pittsfield, or anywhere for that matter!...

The food is very consistent, and wait times are minimal. I've tried almost everything on the menu besides the tuna. I highly suggest that lasagna soup .... it will have you running back, I've tried buying a whole pot but they wouldn't allow me unfortunately. Also their breakfast sandwich "kielbasa egg and cheese on a hard roll toasted" is...
Read moreThe food here is always fresh. On a recent visit I had a fresh sandwich with chips. Their soups and dips offer great variety too so I never get bored here. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially when it comes to all the great food products they sell like pierogis and other Polish groceries. It has an old neighborhood feel, especially with the historic maps and photos decorating the space. I highly recommend this for your next visit to Pittsfield. FYI they also have gluten free options and...
