I have been coming here for years. I moved away about 3 years ago and came home to visit and stop at my favorite place. I was so disappointed. We walked in and there wasnāt anyone available to seat us. Once someone came over we were seated and our drink order was placed. They unfortunately didnāt have one of the drinks we ordered so we picked another. We received our drinks and asked for straws. Our waiter disappeared and another one came over to take our order. We ordered and she let us know one of the items on the menu were for dinner only and considering it was only 3p they couldnāt make it. We thought it was odd because I ordered off the same section and she took my order. We then asked her for straws. We waited over 20 minutes for straws. When we saw her again we asked again and immediately you could tell she wasnāt happy. She brought straws and left. We waited another 30-40 minutes before receiving our food. Meanwhile not getting and service from our waitress nor any communication on what was going on. We couldnāt even get the check for the drinks we had. So we left money on the table and started to head out. To our surprise she walks out with our plates at 4p on the dot and instead of asking what was wrong asked us if we needed to go boxes. Against our better judgement we sat back down. Another woman who I would assume was a manager came over to us with boxes. Not introducing herself or asking about what was going on. The food was hot but it was bland. Iāve never had a bad meal there before and man was that bland. We paid and left. We left so disappointed. We didnāt understand why our waitress was serving others but not us because we hadnāt done anything but ask for straws 3 times. We were patient considering we were ignored. I absolutely hate not tipping, itās truly the worst feeling because as someone who has worked many years in customer facing roles I completely understand. But this was the first time in a very long time we simply couldnāt. This is not the same Patrickās. There was no reason for the treatment we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm amending an update to this review, I am happy to bump my review after hearing from the management; they both provided a gift card for my family to try them again (which is in the works!) and beyond that they gave me insights and their apologies for the misdirection in the kitchen. I will say, I wish we had a chance to talk to management while eating at Patrick's so that this may have been made right earlier; but I'm happy with the service provided. I'm leaving the first part of my review up for context, but my feeling is they were having an off night and the waitress we had was poorly equipped for the situation. I'm grateful they reached out, and happy to give them another shot. I had been a loyal patron of Patrick's for years. Arriving at 5 (and needing to get to a show at 7), we quickly put in an order of wings. After that, our waitress was incredibly difficult to grab, despite it not being at capacity. At around 6:15, long after our orders were placed, I took the waitress to let her know that our party was getting anxious about arriving at the show. She barely registered a response, and said she thought she saw our plates. At 6:35, still no meals, and we began getting ready to leave. As one of our group went to get the car so that we could arrive at the show, she arrived...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the worst take out experiences of my life, and an embarrassing st Patrick's day super.
Every dish ordered was cold and soggy, there were missing items from the order. They offer a special st Patrick's day menu and charge a premium. That's great, except the food is absolutely disgusting. I ordered bangers and mashed. Everything was cold. The gravy was clearly from a can or spice mix, and the sausage was somehow soggy. The portion was very meager, almost like they want us to remember famine times. The fish and chips my wife ordered was also cold and came with soggy sweet potato fries for some reason. We specified onion rings as a side which were not provided. The chicken wings, ordered extra hot, were also cold and not spicy at all, and not crispy.
I ordered online over an hour in advance and still waited 20+ minutes for my order to come out, which would be totally fine except for the fact that the food was cold.
For an alleged "Irish pub" the food on offer at st Patrick's day should be the best of the year. The meal provided is an embarrassment to the namesake and absolutely not worth the $77 price.
The restaurant was also packed full of obnoxious drunks.
The one star goes to the take out hostess who was fantastic, very friendly and helpful, and welcoming to my...
