I made a stop at this Arby's location after traveling for hours. I don't eat Arby's that often, but I decided to patronize this restaurant. I pulled right up to order some food as there was no line or any other patrons in site at the moment. I ordered chicken sliders, curly fries, and chicken tenders. Once I completed my order I pulled around to make my payment. The gentleman at the window told me to pull up because my food was not ready, so I did. I wait for almost 20 minutes as I see other people pull off with their food, before another employee came out to bring me my food. As soon as I open the bag to check my food, what do I see sitting on my chicken tender ladies and gentlemen??? SPIT!! SPIT was sitting on one of the chicken tenders. I'm completely disgusted, furious, and all the things you could think of if you were to receive food with SPIT on it. I immediately went back in and requested for my money back due to the fact that someone SPIT on my food. At this point I went back to the guy that brought out the food. Without even checking the food the guy immediately slammed the food in the trash can and said I wasted his time making my food. I didn't give a damn about who's time was wasted when gross misconduct was committed. I submitted a complaint, then I received a call from the DM Jason Boyer, I explained to him what happened and requested for an investigation. He proceeds to tell me that the chicken tenders sometimes have this residue, that looks like SPIT, and then tells me there are no cameras at that location. First of all what person is going to eat food that has something on it that resembles SPIT. I know the difference between grease from fat and SPIT. Secondly, I don't know of any food establishment like Arby's that don't have cameras. After doing my research of that location it was determined that the DM lied about not having cameras at that location. He made excuses for a deplorable act and never followed back up as he said he would. This is a shady business, that may do something to your food based on...
Read moreThis Arby's was alright as far as fast-food places go. The food itself was mediocre; the macaroni and cheese was bland, the chicken sandwich lacked sauce, and the new "wagyu burger" was a mess. Definitely overpriced, and I certainly could've done much better myself at home - but if I wanted to make it myself I wouldn't have come here. All in all, as far as the food goes it was about standard. Nothing special, and no reason to come back, though no reason to stay away either. If you want something different from the standard burger joint, this isn't the worst option.
The staff was a different story. The young woman at the register was perfectly pleasant, but the manager was loudly criticizing the staff in the kitchen. A customer shouldn't be able to overhear such things, and the experience was quite awkward. It doesn't surprise me that my sandwich was messy and missing some ingredients; I doubt the kitchen staff take much pride in their work when operating under such management. However, there may have been extenuating circumstances behind this activity and so I won't judge them too harshly; perhaps they should simply be more aware of how close the kitchen is to...
Read moreI had never been to an Arby's before. But my family and I had been on the road all day, covering over 700 miles. We stopped for gas for the final 100 miles and spotted Arby's next to the gas station. We decided to get some dinner.
Not knowing the ropes, we needed a lot of help and had to ask a lot of questions to create an order. We have 2 children and they could not understand the menus. I was embarrassed that we took so long and asked so many questions. I am telling you this to heap praise on the young man behind the counter. He was patient, helpful, polite, and gracious. He is a credit to the store and the company.
When we received our food we went to a table and sat down. The food was fresh, tasty, and the restaurant was clean. We all enjoyed our meal and were refreshed, ready for the road to complete our journey. Yes, we DID ring the bell on our way out.
Why only 4/5 for the "Food" rating? As I said, the food was fresh, hot and tasty. But frankly, I thought the portions were a bit small. Overall, Arby's, as represented by this store is 5/5 and I will remember this store on...
