Staff was less than informed, about phones, technology, and even the price they offer. The associate referred to a micro SD card as a sim card, they are not the same by any means.. I was told $150 before tax for the phone I selected. When it was rung up it came to $179 pre tax, errors are made and I get that, but I was very low on funds so I had none to spare. When he finalized the transaction it came to over $200 with tax. I knew the tax didn't account for that, but assumed there must have been some odd charge. He printed, folded, and put the receipt into the bag, and I was on my way. When I got home I found a new sim card in my bag, I told the representative that i did NOT need a sim card as I had my old one and they were the same form factor. I am currently using the same old sim card. I looked to the receipt and found the $9.99 charge for the sim card I will never use, and was never told about. I have worked in cellphone sales and for them this is an "Attach," which makes their numbers look better, like selling a phone case with a phone. Attaching any item to a sale without informing the customer is just wrong, and I will not be shopping there again.
