I will say that this bar can be hit or miss. It is dependent on a few things, though, so it depends in what you are looking for in a bar. This is basically the only actual "bar" in town, and it could not be confused to be anything other than a dark, "hole-in-the-wall" dive bar. This is true any day of the week. That being said, the atmosphere and vibe changes depending on the day and time you go in, and whether or not there are any special events going on on main street. I don't frequent this place, but i have worked close by for the last few years, so naturally, i have ended up here with friends and co-workers for a drink quite a few times, since, like i said, this is about the only late night drinking establishment around. The drinks are fairly inexpensive, but the strength and accuracy varies. That could be said of just about any establishment, though, so take it as you will. I have had good and bad experiences. I have been ignored several times in there by the older women bartenders, and pretty much served only after there was no one else waiting for a drink. Which is a shame because i work in the hospitality/food& bev industry, and i tip comparable to service. But that is beside the point. I have been mean mugged and made to feel unwelcome at times by what appear to be locals who must go there often. But, other times, i have been welcomed by different locals. Just depends on the time and day. Long story short here... If you bring a group or a couple friends, and don't rely on what is there for entertainment, you can have a great time. If you go on a weekend or during a main street event... Be prepared to push your way thru, probably wait for drinks (or possibly be ignored for a while) Overall, i will...
Read moreI love going to this bar Thursday through Saturday. The drinks are great, the bartenders are amazing and it’s always a fun experience. However for the first time I went on a Sunday and it was a horrible experience. The bartender, who said his name was Zach, is one of the rudest people I have ever met. Not only was he rude, but he sure didn’t know how to make a drink. I tried a couple different ones and not a single one tasted half way decent. The bar wasn’t even very busy, so other then the female he spent most of his time talking to and his continuous long smoke breaks, there was no reason he couldn’t take an extra second to make a good drink. This experience really changed my views about the...

There aren't of those kind people around now a days. She is a gift from good that will never be forgotten. Thanks again Brandy. I hope you...
